Gold shields. Javafail still useless. Weighs more than two krogan now.
Using Javalin IV and still have decent cooldown on my salarian infiltrator

I wish Barriers and Shields just took a flat amount of additional damage from every bullet. This would give automatic weapons their niche as shield strippers, then switch to your powerful single-shot weapon to deal with Armor.
taking a flat amount of damage per bullet actually favours slow firing weapons, not rapid fire ones.
Everything that is reducing damage by an amount should be going off percentages so as to not give slow firing weapons the advantage.

You want to make them worse?

So there's no need to ever use Carnifex X if you even have Paladin I.
Sad day.
Is the Carnifex X lighter then the Paladin I? Someone posted earlier that the palidin now weighs more then a level 9 geth shotgun, that's bad for casters.

They are trying to buff soldiers through weapons. Casters are already doing great; I don't want to see casters whining about their "problems"
I sure do like Paladin on the drell adept thoughmixing in melee, feel like an assassin
Vangaurd can be considered a caster class and it's got big probles with glitches that make them float up into the sky as well as lag related issues that won't let their powers activate despite the cooldown is over.

I'm suggesting that Shielded and Barriered targets take a small, flat amount of bonus damage from each bullet. This gives automatic weapons a buff against those targets.
Edit: Nevermind, I fail at reading.
It would be the same thing pretty much(only not % based) that it was in ME2 then, no idea why that was even taken away

To make use of ammunition types as equipment of course! I mean why have weapons provide an innate and logical bonus when you can force an entire community to purchase random packs loaded with complete junk instead of items that they actually want, right?

only they've always had ammo types in all Mass Effect games even when there was weapon bonuses vs certain things =P

I prefer my Carnifex IX way over the Paladin one. A lot more ammo, 2 more shots per magazine, and the damage difference is really not that big. Also, the paladin is very heavy now, heavier than most of my shotguns really. if anything this was a nerf to the Paladin in my book, I didn't think it was worth using before, it's definately not worth using now, unless you're a krogan sentinel or something, or have it at a really high level which most people won't have.

Please decrease the weight and reload time of the Claymore so it becomes useful for non-Infiltrators too.

Faster to duck into cover or tap an ability (especially if the ability is already on cooldown).

Heavy pistols are way too light for their damage. I'll probly be lynched for saying this, but they need a weight increase across the board. They are "heavy" pistols, after all. Kinda silly that they're superior to soldiers' weapons in every way.
precision weapons are always going to be stronger than full auto weapons in this game, if that's what you're talking about.

I've grown reluctant to nerf heavy pistols after playing my drell assassin. However, I would prefer soldier soldier soldier, krogan, so if that's what it takes
