Assuming they do not fix the ME3 ending, How likely are you to

1) Purchase another game from Bioware/EA on the day it comes out?
2) Pre-order another game from Bioware/EA?
3) Keep up with Bioware/EA upcoming games?
4) Play through ME3 again?
5) Purchase and Download DLC for ME3 which does not fix the Ending?

For me the answers are:

1) No chance, I might wait several months for a Steam sale on it, but not going to get it through Origin or at full price.
2) No chance, I'd want to wait till after I've heard if they messed up another ending before I even thought of buying it.
3) Minimal, I still love bioware, but unless they have something big I probalby won't care too much.
4) Moderate, I kinda wanna see how the game would play through if I made different choices, but I'd stop playing after taking down Cerberus.
5) No chance, I won't spend any money on this series till it's fixed

1) Never. I was wary with ME3. Was it a smokescreen? I wasn't sure and I wasn't about to invest 50$ in what could be a huge letdown. I figure I'd wait and soak in spoilers.
2) DA2 was the first game I preordered. I had been playing DA a lot and wanted to continue my journey ASAP. The rest of the games I got on steam sale. Very worth it Most of the stuff they give you for pre-ordering isn't that impressive for the price you pay. With DA2, everything you got could be modded.
3) I'll be interested in seeing how the situation develops. At this point, caution is wise. In fact, I'd just go with the assumption that their games are a trick until proven otherwise. I'll follow the situation but not necessarily the games like how I used to.
4) There's no replay value. In the first 2 games, you play to save the galaxy in the last installement. However, in said installement, your decisions don't matter and the universe basically ceases to exist. I'd rather kill the human reaper and end on the rush of the SM than some botched ending with no conclusion and some dream sequence Starchild. I'm much more likely to play 1&2 again...or even KOTOR.
5) I will not pay for DLC. If there is DLC, it better be free. After all, BW made promises and didn't live up to them. I won't encourage a cash grab for ending DLC. Their reputation and their fans are at stake. Day 1 DLC is dumb enough but to intentionally botch an ending and then charge for a "real" ending DLC, that's low.

1) Purchase another game from Bioware/EA on the day it comes out?

Nope

2) Pre-order another game from Bioware/EA?

Nope

3) Keep up with Bioware/EA upcoming games?

Not likely

4) Play through ME3 again?

Meh. I guess I might keep it depending on upcoming DLC. We'll see.

5) Purchase and Download DLC for ME3 which does not fix the Ending?

Depends on the DLC in question. Factors include what it is and the price.

1 - No. See 2.

2 - I never pre-order games for the same reason I never rush to be among the first to buy any product. You're not exactly paying to be in the beta test but you will be among those identifying any problems which will be fixed for those who wait a few months to a year depending on the product. Take new cars, for instance - most of the recalls to fix some minor but annoying fault tend to come out fairly early in the production run, often because early buyers have complained. The upset over ME3's ending, among other things, says this applies to computer games as well. Pre-order? No thanks. Wait and see what the first buyers have to say? Every time.

3) Don't do this anyway. If lots of people are raving about what a great game something is I'll check it out and maybe buy a copy. Doesn't matter much to me what companies are involved or what they've stuffed up in the past. Cars again, what happened with the Pinto shouldn't stop you buying a Ford now.

4) Can't. Not bought it and not inclined to buy it at the moment.

5) Nope. If the indoctrination theory or something similar turns out to be right (or if it isn't but BioWare/EA decide to use it anyway to fix things) I'd probably buy the game if the feelings about the revision were generally positive. But since you don't pay extra for the last chapter of a book the DLC would need to be free. I'm happy to pay for DLC which is like a short story or novella that adds to the story, but not for DLC that's really needed for the main story. Maybe the Prothean DLC that everyone was upset about before release could be considered the former, but DLC that fixes the ending or explains it or whatever needs to be free or I just won't drop the dollars on the game in the first place. I can live with my Shepard's story ending after ME2.

1) If the game looks cool, very likely
2) If the game looks cool, very likely.
3) Very likely.  I like some of their game franchises (Mass Effect and Dead Space just to name a few)
4) Very likely.  Already played trhough twice.  Working on a third run.  I'm playing Mass Effect 2 right now, setting up to play three again with this character.
5) Neither of my endings were broken.  I will download DLC if it looks interesting.  I'm a huge ME fan (played all games, including both ios games and data pad, read all books...novels and comics).  I would love to see DLC that continues to explore the ME universe.

I like ME3, it is a great game. Feels a bit rushed in parts but overall it is brilliant. I do not let some five minutes sequence that is not to my liking cloud my judgement as to forget how the game was beforehand up to that point.

People have such short memories these days.

^This.

I don't understand how one bad ending caused everyone to instantly hate all of the Mass Effect games and the entire company. Yeah, the ending wasn't good, but come on. All other parts of everything else was amazing.
Shut up about the ending.

none of the above. not buying anything for me3 unless the ending gets fixed. in fact, i'm already in the middle of another ME2 playthrough. ME2 is vastly superior to ME3

Overall, since I enjoyed ~98% of the game and it had some very cool story telling moments, yes.

As far as DLC goes, I'll decide if it looks interesting and decide if it will give good gameplay value for the money and decide.

I've already replayed ME3 3 times. So I'll likely do so again at some point.
