I remember this topic from when the Demo was out, when I named my characters variations of my nickname as I thought it would be the display name

I think the naming thing is a waste of time and irritating. they shouldn't MAKE you name them. mine are all like aaaa ddddd msshwh. even if they had permanence I still woudln't be bothered with this. they should have random names assigned to them already if they MUST have names and let you change them if it's something that matters to you rather than making you stop and go up and fiddle thru the letters trying to get some sort of "unique"name for them before you can deploy them
