You can rename them at any time, at least you can on the PC.


I have a Quarian Engi named NotTali. I have a Quarian Infil named AlsoNotTali. My Human infil is named Gimpy because of her hood. My Asari Adept is named Baeda and my Asari Vang is named Velvet, because that's what her wonderful shad eof purple reminded me of.

I couldn't think of anything so I just grabbed some random words from my brain. Besides, people don't see that name anyway...

I'm thinking of renaming my Drell Adept to Christopher Reaves.  ...too soon?

If they had more permanence I would name them better. Krogan Sentinel was Red Eye

I think the naming thing is a waste of time and irritating. they shouldn't MAKE you name them. mine are all like aaaa ddddd msshwh. even if they had permanence I still woudln't be bothered with this. they should have random names assigned to them already if they MUST have names and let you change them if it's something that matters to you rather than making you stop and go up and fiddle thru the letters trying to get some sort of "unique"name for them before you can deploy them

To be honest, you could argue the same about Shepard in the single player...

i used to give them fitting names , i would spend nearly twenty or so minutes just to figure one out... after many many promotions , i gave up and began naming them after random celebrities, some fit, some dont, either way it amuses me

Zero Punctuation has a rather ...unique name for his Shepard.  I'm pretty sure posting that name might be pushing the limits of TOS posting privs, though.  lol

Though... I so wish there was some way the game would actually use the name you give your Shepard. Why would your LI not use your first name..? All we need is every single common name in every language spoken once by the voice actors. That shouldn't be too hard...
