I name them based among their builds, especially human counterparts. If I get the same name, I add a letter

Betty Swollocks, Mary Hinge, Lucy Lastic, Betty Juggs, they typical stupid names that you give characters when it really doesn't matter.

Oh, and my Krogan Soldier called FluffyBunny.

I've tried to think of names that sound like others in their race or using existing clans, ship names etc. If I can't think of anything or in a lobby I sometimes take cool sounding names from other things (like Turok) lol.

I can't remember the others. They're all random nonsensical names, like Jiggy or Pie.

Turian Soldier: Kanin Kuril, named after an NPC in my Mass Effect tabletop game. He is Warden Kuril's younger brother and a former Lieutenant Commander in the Blue Suns. Now, he works with the player-characters in a strike team during the Reaper Wars.
Salarian Engineer: Setu, because it sounds salarian
Human Soldier: Darius, named after my Shepard

Krogan Sentinel - "Ironhide"
Salarian Engineer - "Jetfire"
Turian Sentinel - "Starscream"
Krogan Soldier - "Optimus Prime"
Salarian Infiltrator - "Ratchet"

Went with nicknames for all of mine. Some of the names have to do with their combat style, while others are just names that I felt seemed appropriate and somewhat unique to the character/class. Haven't unlocked the Asari Adept or Drell Vanguard yet, but here are my names (in order as shown on the character selection menu) thus far:

Grav, Water, ____, Havoc
Swashbuckler, Goldie, Knockout, Pro
Link, Meltdown, Shiver, Bolt
Knives, Sling, Junkpile, Dreadnought
X-Ray, Fatale, Mist, Insidia
Dubstep, Crash, ____, Witch



I do find myself wishing that players' character names and appearances could be viewed by their teammates in the lobby. Would be a nice touch, and considering that there's already a loading period to enter the lobby, I'm a bit surprised that we can't.
