Anyone got an idea to why it`s not possible to have a relationship with Vega?

They were too busy ruining the ME2 romances to properly allocate "resources" to this?

Not a valid argument, not when you can romance anyone else.
Though I was thinking about it, and I came to think it might be becaus Vega sees Shepard as his teacher, he might be unpro with her/him most of the time, but he draws the line at lovemaking.

It is a valid point. Mostly you can't start a new relationship. There are a couple new ones as fan service but they are rushed. It's pointless to even be starting one in the last game.

I think Vega's flirting with femshep is mostly for fun and not serious. I liked it and would understand if some people would wish for a romance but I don't see it coming.
