i dont mind the salarian as i kill any krogan i can anyway. (wrex died in 1, tank breed is nice but smwht naive. wreav or whatever was the nail on the coffin for the crogan cure in me3 in my playthrough. nearly trusted femkrog though)

The Dalatrass has Salarian interests in mind. Shes not there and hasn't seen everything that Shepard and Mordin have seen. Her concern is that if the galaxy survives the Reapers, than the Krogan will rise up and slaughter the salarians in retaliation. If you play the game with Wreav... you see pretty bluntly that she isn't wrong to think that way.
Gerrell is a military man. Yes... shooting down the dreadnought when it was vulnerable WAS the correct choice. Sacrificing a couple people to ensure the survival of millions is the right choice in any military scenario.

On the other hand, Dalatrass actively tries to prevent cure, tries to bribe me and is generally a **** hiding behind facade of "thinking for future". If she had changed her view whenever or not Wrex was in charge, I might consider her bigger jerk.
Ont he other hand, Gerrel is a tleast honest jerk. He makes no attempt to hide why he is in this war and is very clear on his views and you can convince him to do what you tell him. Then again, the jerk SHOT AT ME.
I call it a tie. Had Gerrel not shot at me, Dalatrass would be number 1

However, Han'Gerrel had no problem trying to kill me to achieve his goals. So he wins the award for the bigger jerk, and that award was my fist to his stomach.

Dalatrass is definitely worse. She can and will basically abandon the other species if she doesn't get her way. Made even worse by how wrong she is in the Wrex/Eve alive scenario. The fact that Sur'Kesh is left alone by the reapers until the VERY end is just the final insult

I can understand not caring about the human and his friend but to willing kill one of the five people that govern your people...one of the two that oppose him at that just shows how much he really cares for his people.

Gerrel is an ass, true, but he is at least upfront and honest about it. He's just led by anger.
The Dalatrass is a scheming, conniving racist. There's no emotional mitigation here: it's just pure malice aforethought.
You tell me which is worse?
Quite honestly, I think if galactic civilization survives the Salarians will be in big, BIG political trouble in my story: the one species that did not "officially" join my war effort - a war effort that even included the Geth - because of their leader's own selfish bigotry. I wouldn't be surprised if they would be cast out similarly to how the Batarians were (and the Batarians actually take their place for their role).

Not to mention, every time I go through the summit between Wrex, Victus, Linron, and Shepard and she says that a bully has few friends when they need them, I always respond with some variation of 'pot, have you met kettle?' Han'Gerrel at least can get a punch to the gut, get thrown off the ship, and will back down. You don't get that kind of satisfaction with Linron.

Han'Gerrel made some pretty bad decisions, but they were made in the name of reclaiming the quarian homeworld, and he was persuaded to back down from the suicidal actions he was taking. Linron wanted the krogan practically exterminated for no other reason than what might happen and would doom the galaxy in her refusal to even consider letting bygones be.

Here's some satisfaction for you then: her words are utterly ironic.
She is a bully and if galactic civilization survives I don't think the Salarians will have many friends anymore.
So she was right!

I'm going with Han-Gerrel.
Man I hated the guts of this guy. Totally relished the renegade option of kicking him off the ship, I mean shooting at the ship while we're still in it?!

I kind of agree with Dalatrass Linron about the danger that the cured krogan pose to galactic stability, frankly. She's right to be concerned at least.
Gerrel is just a trigger-happy moron.
