I just had a similar moment. Wave 10, Silver, last one alive with 4 data packets yet to be retrieved. I'm quite a noob generally and this is only my second time playing silver. Couldn't believe it when I finished, haha. Everyone else had been focusing on the Banshee and completely ignored the Brute behind them. I'm sure they were waiting for about ten minutes.

For me the one that I had last night was when we were up against the Geth, I was an Asari Adept. One of my Teammates had gone down, and I was rushing over to help them. We were on Firebase Giant.

Just as I am getting there, a Geth Trooper is preparing to stomp on my downed teammate. Right as he lifts his leg, my cooldown hits and I throw a statis. He freezes with leg in air!

I'm thinking my teammate was probably like WTF? Thought they were about to die and all of a sudden STATIS. LOL. That was pretty cool.

Starting wave 10 on gold with reapers the objective is the hack objective in the control room in fire base Giant i cloak get there and start hacking 2 of my team mates die on the way to the objective so its only me and some random dude doing the hack after wave after wave of Banshees im down to one rocket and we finish the objective when suddenly a wild Brute appears with a banshee as backup and pin my last squad mate to a wall so as the banshee picks him up to assassinate him i pull my uber rocket launcher and i kill them both and from that day forward i was a Boss.

Saving people about to get KO'd by a Banshee and hearing their gratefullness on the mic always brings a smile to my face.

Staggering one-hit-kill enemies with the Falcon or Concussive Shot is always glorious.

Any time I pound out a bunch of Vindicator or Mattock headshots in a row and the kill queue is spammed with "DBAM [Vindicator] Cannibal" I can't help grinning.

All three of my fellow squaddies go down in the same general spot due to an enemy AoE or some such thing, and I run up, rapid-fire rez each of them, and continue running makes me feel pretty beastly.

It's stupid, but whenever my missiles kill a bunch of stuff I didn't even know was there, I feel awesome.

I almost hate to admit this, but last night I was playing a silver game with randoms and I decided to play a Human Vanguard in the most obnoxious way possible. I spent the entire match Nova-Charging and I ended up scoring more than 100,000 points on a Silver match.

The most "boss" like moment was when I managed to kill three Phantoms, two Atlases, three Guardians, and two Turrets at the same time with a series of N-C combos while the rest of my team was dead (wave 10).

I am not proud of this game play, but man was it fun...

Pulling a headshot on something that's about to stomp my teammate and then running over and reviving them. They love that ****.

Being revived in the middle of banshees and brutes while trying to extract then pulling out my rocket launcher and shooting it directly at my feet, killing everything then watching the final seconds tick down.

Running towards a low-health Geth prime and dealing the final blow with a Headbutt. It was awesome.

Yesterday I saw a Krogan headbutt a Geth turret (the ones that Primes throw out). Freaking hilarious! I was laughing a while at that one.

Finishing 3/4 device activations by myself on Gold...with 0:02 to spare! I almost fainted when I came back out to look at my decoy. There were 5-6 Phantoms and 2 Atlases nomming him up. So I put a rocket to their faces.

Now if it were a hacking mission I'd call that super boss.

One of my favourite moments (which I think counts) was a Silver Geth match on FB white. I'm playing my Asari Vanguard and taking cover just outside the downstairs lab area when three pyros came walking around. Through perfect timing I was able to grab kill all three of 'em when they came up to my little wall on after the other.

In the same context: same map, same enemy but different match (I think, may have been the same one). Anyway, we get a hack objective over by the area near the L shaped cover and me (still my AV) and an asari adept are the only two there (other two are keeping others from flanking). We take cover and survive a major onslaught of geth hunters and pyros swarming us, grabbing anyone foolish enough to get close to our cover. I swear we took out like a dozen or so enemies between the two of us with just grab kills.

Just lined up a headshot on a nemesis with my geth plasma shotgun, a trooper stumbles into the path just as I fire and both go down. Not sure if he was trying to save her, but not gonna happen against a fully charged plasma shot.

Being interrupted in the middle of a Nova by a very rude Phantom who decided it was a good time to use her instant-kill sword move.

Only the joke was on her, because after the animation was over I was somehow completely unscathed. I practically yelled "instant kill THIS, ****!" before Heavy Melee-ing her into a nearby wall. I doubt that bug will ever repeat itself, which is why I will always cherish that moment.

Ran a solly on Gold Rea[er with an AR + Frag build and was lucky enough not to get kicked. Loadout was Mattock V with damage III and scope VI mod, recharge at 130% or something. Build was 6/3/6/5/6.

Survived with one down the whole game, but my best moment was Wave 10. Everyone was downed because no one was covering the right flank but me (so yeah, I guess leaving the solly who you think sucks is the best way to cover flank). We had two objectives left, with at least 2 Banshees still in the field and some small time Cannibals and an annoying Ravager - 3:30 minutes in play. My shields kept going down from my frequent migrations, but my Adrenaline Rush saved me every time (Rank 4 evo was the 50% shield recharge). I took down a Banshee to half armor before I finished all objectives at mark 1:00+, but the second Banshee came and was taking the lead for the injured Banshee long enough for it to retain its Barrier. I decided to throw my last remaining grenades, and kept migrating from supply crate to supply crate - two of my teammates cheering me on (lucky enough to be in a match with everyone having a mic - rare). At last, killed the two Banshees through a very tiring kiting trip. Ended the match with Full Extraction. Game duration was about 40 minutes, 10 minutes longer than the average Gold match.

That one guy that didn't cheer for me was the one who wanted me kicked, and complained about my presence throughout the game until Wave 10 came in. He "waited" in Wave 10 for me to die instead of just leaving outright. I disappointed him by not fulfilling to his desires. Endgame he wasn't talking anymore, and I decided to just free him from his shame and switched my character from Soldier to Engineer since it was like the team was giving me the support role the whole time.

The event where killing two Banshees may not be great, but it is amplified when I disproved the assumptions of the attitude of this random, discriminating guy. I felt like I wanted to praise myself after that game, at least in comparison to that guy who has underestimated me the whole time.
