Just displaced my previous Vanguard-related boss moment with this one: Charge-Nova-Katana'ing my way through 10+ Cerberus troops of various types on Giant/Bronze. Then later in the same match, killing a Phantom with a combination of two Charges, a Nova, and some Katana fire.

Not too impressive, but it felt epic. :)

Interrupting a Phantom's instant kill on a teammate with cloaked heavy melee. On Gold. With us the last 2 two alive on the team.

Soloing wave 9 on a silver game with N7 Crusader on my Human Infiltrator.

Heavy melee killing a Banshee. Then spinning around and melee killing a Brute.

Using cloaked heavy melees to kll 4 phantoms in a row on Wave 10 of a silver game.

Missed my missle that would have saved my entire team and completed final wave, got my entire team killed because of a shaky screen effect like a boss.

Soloing 3 brutes and a banshee on bronze, my team were like 'WHY IS THERE only cannibles this is too easy!' firebase dagger, that room where you can see over the entire map.

How I love you sentinel.

Teaching 3 randoms in a PUG about Gold, and in doing so taking them through their first Gold run completion. That felt good man. They were blown away it was possible. And all it took was a strategy and general guidelines. Call out your missiles, keep to your area unless the other 2 need help, and talk it out. 26 minutes for their first Gold run if damned good in my book.

Killing a Phantom by meleeing her down from 100% on my Human characters.

I do it quite often but it's always just as fun.

I'd gotten my Widow from a Spectre Pack and I was pretty excited to use it for the very first time. And so I got into a Silver match on Firebase Ghost and... a ton of these Cerberus Troopers coagulate at the opposite bunker... BOOM, 3 of them who were unfortunate enough to line up precisely, get taken down in one shot. It was the highlight of my day.

Mine would be me being a Quarian Infiltrator (Shut-up!)  That DOESN'T actually use a sniper rifle! Just an good ol' friendly M-8 with the Tempest.  All of my teamates were downed on gold against  cerberus on level 8 within two minutes.  I managed to kill all of them. Took half an hour though.  Talk about being sweaty.  Most difficult things I ever did in my life. It was gratifying though.  Especially when you slide over cover just right.

:innocent:

Had my first successful gold run today on Firebase Giant, and while this wasn't the most epic thing ever, it was pretty awesome and memorable. It ended with me (a squishy little Asari Adept) as the last one outside of the EZ, running past two Atlases, at least one Phantom, and a handful of other Cerberus tools in order to make it into the circle with literally 0:00 on the countdown with nearly zero health, ending with a Full Extraction. Made my day. :D

Survived level 10 reaper wave on gold with my team dead and me being lvl13 Drell adept. Noone believed I would succeed, there were like 5 Banshees and some Brutes too, but I did the smart thing: took out all Marauders and Ravagers first.
Like a b055!

*playing Human Vanguard*
*banshee spawns*
*banshee rushes towards one of my teammates*
*teammate gets grabbed by banshee for her insta-kill*
*Asari Adept warps the banshee, I charge the banshee to detonate the Warp*
*banshee lets go of teammate*

I was pretty happy because that was the first time I could spit in a banshee's face while she's insta-killing.

My last game last night, Firebase White (? - Noveria), don't know what happened to the rest of the team, but was just my human adept left standing. Made it to the hacking area, saw dead team-mate (soldier I think) swarmed by what appeared to be a bajillion geth - who then turned on me.

Panic-jumped over the console into cover, a few shockwave and singularities to buy some space, ressed team mate. We then alternated between panic-killing the geth and ressing each other until it was just me against a couple of the annoying ones with flamethrowers and a prime - more panicked ability/shooting spams until suddenly the hacking was complete and all the geth were were dead.

Wave ended, team mates up and about and we got a full extraction - was the most nerve-wracking play of my life, not bad for an MP newb - the satisfaction of finishing that wave myself while all were dead around me was immense:wizard:

Yet another Vanguard one: unexpectedly solo'ing Bronze to Wave 6 after my teammates (or DC'd) at the start of the first wave. I'd have made it further, but I died (shields down but full health, having rolled away from the grenade, WTF), and didn't have any medigel (not because I'd died before - I hadn't - but because I was expecting teammates and so had saved my credits).

It was epic while it lasted though.

Don't laugh, I am a multiplayer n00b and not the world's best shooter player. Not even half-mediocre. But just had my own little LIKE A BOSS moment tonight.

So, I FINALLY unlocked a Turian Sentinel. I wanted to play a turian ever since I first heard ME3 would offer multiplayer (really wanted a female turian, since I am one of those "rare" girl gamers, LOL)... then was disappointed when I was stuck with a human and had to constantly go through packs, hoping to eventually get a turian card. Image IPB

I was playing around in random Bronze rooms, getting used to the turian's movement (much more like a plodding tank than I would have thought... Garrus never came across as being this, well, bulktastic). I ended up in a room with a drell adept around my same N7 rank and similar character rank (Level 17/18). I waited for two others to join so we'd have a full squad. But Mr. Drell Adept was impatient and kept flicking his ready light on and off, so I said, "Fine, screw it, let's do this!"

We end up in... jeez, I am still learning names. The map with all the radar dishes and such. Just the two of us. And I see he has a Widow sniper rifle. So, I figure he's pretty much gonna headshot-own the room. I try to stick with him so we can revive each other if either one goes down... you know, since there's only the two of us. But he proceeds to cartwheel all over creation instead... leaving my slow, plodding turian gasping for air in his vapor trail.

Again, I say, "Fine, screw it, let's do this!" I hunker down in my favorite cover spot and start mowing through Cerberus dudes. We do okay for few waves. Then, we start getting Atlases and Nemesises. And we gotta go do the "shut off four devices" schtick. And Cartwheel Boy is off doing whatever in the blue blazes he is doing, while I am left trying to complete the objectives by myself. Around Device #2, my dearly beloved Olympian Gymnist goes down. And he is surrounded with no hope for a revive without me going down, too, thus ending the session. So, I complete the other two shut offs. And then I plod madly around the map, leading Guardians and such on a wild goose chase as I slowly pick them off one-by-one.

And I solo the wave.

Next one, no real objective other than kill. But now we have another Atlas. And Drell Wonder goes down again. Like an idiot. And I proceed to work my Turian Sentinel Voo Doo Magic and solo the wave. Like I am in slow-freakin'-motion. Cowering behind cover and potshoting at this Atlas... and then everyone else after it's done... and somehow survive.

Wave is complete and buddy boy rises from the dead, running over to me as if he is just so excited I am carrying him on my back. Meanwhile, I'm wishing I could get a Renegade Interrupt option to slap him. In the face. With the butt of my Mattock assault rifle.

Needless to say, the next few waves repeat the same friggin' thing. Backflip Lad dies horribly while poor, blundering Palaven Tank runs around the map as if in an ocean of molasses and survives.

By Wave 8, however, we get Phantoms. And Cartwheel Boy -- who has finally gotten the idea that maybe... just maybe... it would be a good idea to stick near me and actually help team up on these dudes -- tries valiantly to help kill a Phantom and an Atlas that are gang-jumping him... and he dies. I do my best, but I am just swarmed with no hope. I die and our session ends.

But man. I carried us a long way. I can't imagine what he was thinking, sitting there watching my lumbering, sluggish turian solo all those guys wave after wave. By literally playing cat-and-mouse, leading them into mazes so I can pick them off one at a time near ammo boxes. And miraculously getting us through to another round.

Before I hung it up for the night, he messaged me. "Sorry. You were kicking a--." Ha ha! LIKE A BOSS. Like a slow, newbie, mediocre boss.

Felt good, man. Felt good. Image IPB

Extraction round in the reactor vs. reapers, everyone but me has bled out early/been executed/etc.
Banshees, Brutes and some other stuff still running around, I have no missiles or gel left.
I dont even remember what I was playing, but it doesnt really matter. It was no Infiltrator in any case.
I make a run for it, AWAY from the EZ. Then, when Im confident I have most baddies after me, I run all the way back. Made it into the zone JUST in time and alive, mission (sort-of) success!

And earlier today: running my engineer with a Carnifex (barrel and armor-piercing). We were standing at the top of the ladder, the next wave spawns a bunch of geth around that corner. As soon as they are visible, I fire my gun as fast as it goes, three times for the three troopers approaching. Pop-pop-pop, all headshots and the geth are gone.
I am getting pretty good at headshotting with my scope-less pistol, but doing it from across the map, at that firing rate, must have made the sniper right next to me pretty jealous :D
