I have unlocked several achievments and it says i have 295 points, but it doesn't seem to register that i have any.
I hope i don't need to purchase points with real cash, since i can't pay with my debit card (no option to) (only credit cards are listed)
personally, i don't think paying real cash for points to DL content that is needed in the game is worth it just to play certain quests
any help in clearing up this irritating problem would be helpful
not sure if in-game points work to purchase DLC

Achievement points have nothing to do with DLC.
DLC that costs points is extra content being sold - Bioware points are purchased online with real money.

Warden's Keep is Downloadable Content, if you don't purchase it so that you can download it, then you can't play any part of it.
DLC's such as Warden's Keep and the soon to be released Return to Ostager are extra content that you have to pay for. They are not needed to play the game, they simply add to the existing game. You can play the game perfectly fine without a single DLC installed.

the $7 usd does me no good since i'm in canada, and i cant use my debit card unless i lived in the us, (made in my city) i should be able to pay canadian dollars, and i don't want to get into credit cards, (a personal choice of mine, don't want to have debts i can't payback) and i don't see why it needs to be a pay-to-play anyways, just doesn't make sense to me.

If you think you are losing on items brought by the DLCs, you are wrong, in fact you can finish the game without them. It can even save you grief if by chance your DLC downloads are corrupt, trust me it happens and we have seen them already here, like no markers for the DLCs and having them flagged as unauthorized. It can even save you further pain if you play offline because as I said earlier, glitched DLCs can force you to be logged-in always to the internet and this should not be the case.

ok i understand now, so bioware isn't directly involved in the dlc, are they other party made then, is that why they charge for them?
