So playing against the Reapers today I began to wonder about the correct judgment when saving someone on the other side of the Ravager acid (assuming the pool blocks a way around it). Ya ya preach to me about technicalities and such, but do you risk saving teammates that are downed on the other side of Ravager acid?

For me it depends on how much health I have and the number of Ravager pools. If there's two I won't bother. It's way too damaging to bother with.

One other thing I noticed is that players are fairly unaware of the acid. I'm seen some people stand in it, some run over it without a second thought, and others tend to detour around it.

You can run through the acid with out taking a lot of damage. You can also sit outside of it and raise them unless there rather far on the other side. You don't have to hug corpses - its got some range on the revive.

But yeah I'd just run through the acid, get on the other side. And that's on Gold... with any character I have. If your not a Krogan/Turian, just dodge halfway through it to quickly zip out the other side to safety and less health draining death goo.

I wouldn't take health damage to res them but if it's safe and I have shields/barrier, yea I'll go get them up. Most of the time on gold I find people will just medi-gel in a situation like that anyways though.

I wait until I get my shields/barriers up (like the post above me). If they're on the other side of the pool, I haul ass/dive to rez them at a safe distance.

If there are no immediate threats in the area then sure, I'll storm through some ravager goo to res someone. I can't think of many places on the maps that don't have nearby cover items that I could just vault over to avoid the goo, though.
