So.. I
think we can agree that Shepard is a 22century version of John Rambo, badass
hero trying to save the universe/democracy from ancient evil/communism. Always
fighting bad odds, killing hundreds of enemies, dodging dozens of bullets,
escaping explosions just seconds before impact...etc. So what if someone
rewrote Rambo ending and gave it "artistic" touch?
Just imagine John Rambo fighting to destroy some evil military base, gets hit
by a frag grenade, looses conscious for a few seconds, when he wakes up Ghost
of Vladimir Lenin stands before him saying something about new solution and gives Rambo 3 choices:
a)destroy all communists along with all things they have created (jeans, shoes,
toys...etc.)
b)become new General Secretary of North Korea and rule all communists
c)synthesize all human beings into half communist half liberal hybrids (not
having the right to vote but still subjects of capitalism)
Whatever
his choice will be, next scene is about big nuclear explosion and squad of marines
in Huey crushing on some random Pacific island.
THE END!
Boy what a GREAT ending it would be... so satisfying...
