Actually, given that Bioware is a business and needs to sell product to paying customers to survive, it will either work out the way the paying customers want, or it will work out that Bioware has no business. Witness Quicksilver and how they fought with their customer base over what would make a "good" Masters Of Orion 3. The claimed the right to put whatever they wanted into the game, and the customers claimed the right to not give them any more money.

If they don't fix this they lost their core fanbase which is guaranteed cash. Will they take the hit? I've been with them since Baldur's Gate. Can they afford to lose all of us?

You vastly underestimate Bioware as a company. They don't have to do squat, and imho, I hope they don't. They already said they aren't changing the ending, only clarifying it. They can survive just fine.

It will finally convince me that corporations have no artistic credibility and are morally bankrupt. This is nasty and unethical. I can hardly believe that everyone at Bioware doesn't feel bad for isolating fifty thousand people. If they don't then the world can only get worse from here on.

So using the horribly flawed logic you all cling to that means over 2 million people hate the ending.I mean they didnt voice their opinion but obviously facebook will tell us that since only 690 like it we're going to assume that everyone else hated it ... right?

Very true, but let's do some number crunching here.
According to this, half of all people who bought ME2 have finished the game. Now, that is over the entire game's lifetime, but let's assume a similar rate for ME3 already. So, of the 2 million units sold, roughly 1 million have completed it (the true number is certainly lower, but let's just assume this for sake of argument).
Now, when Ms. Merizan was still posting she quoted the phenomenon in social networking where only 10% of the users actually contribute content, the other 90% stay silent. This isn't something she invented, this is a very real trend in social networking that has been documented. So, of the 1 million who completed the game, only 100,000 are going to say something.
Of that 100,000, over 50k are displeased with the ending. Suffice to say, the majority of the vocal fanbase is displeased with the endings. And this is based on several assumptions which actually inflated the number of people who finished the game.
Now, while I can't say the ratio among the silent majority is exactly the same for like:dislike on the endings, the fact that the majority of people who would provide word-of-mouth sales are saying "the ending sucked" certainly gives the fine folks at Bioware pause.
Take this information as you will.

chopping down the tree. and eh, why bother even adding in the non-english speakers no offense meant. But that is their pro-ending, and the only one on there, so thats it. All 700 of them that like the end.

It very much makes sense to do it this way. People will want the full ending. Say they do provide it for free. We can't complain TOO much if it is free. Now, however, if anyone buys a used copy they will have to fork over for the Bioware Network which is NOT cheap. Bioware makes a ton of money from all the resales, and has minimal backlash from fans after getting a TON of free publicity which includes a Troll that helped out little kids!
1. Used games don't make Bioware money.
2. 10 dollars on top of the used price is still less than the game new.
