It will finally convince me that corporations have no artistic credibility and are morally bankrupt.

Corporate art is an oxymoron. You should know that.

When I was working for a large multinational corporation in the 1980s my supervisor taught a class titled "Morals and Working for a Corporation". Basically you learned to compartmentalize things. That was when I realized I was not suited to any position higher than technical staff.

You youngsters are so idealistic. Try not to lose that.

To be honest it was a great game but a horrifically bad ending is the only thing that sticks out about the trilogy in my mind.

I have no desire to play through the entire trilogy just because of the ending.

I read Chris' comments... sadly.

So basically they're sticking with the trench warfare mentality whether or not it makes sense. And I will state what I've stated before. Unless there is any content that creates a better ending than the crap we've currently got, and the only DLC we get is stuff that happens before the ending, I don't see any point in buying it.

Ah well, I still haven't played the Fallout NV DLC yet.... I think I'll go do that. Thanks for the fish.

And I'll restate my stance: Dragon Age 3 better walk on water.

I'll be good when all this double talk is finished and they actually give us some proper info rather than beating about the bush.

Thank God April is not far away.

And yet another definite NO is cheerfully ignored by the Indoc-Crowd.

*Sigh* Stop doing it. You'll just set yourself up for even more disappointment

Sorry if this has been posted, but I just had a right place right time moment on the Mass Effect twitter feed.

@masseffect @PatrickWeekes did you feel pressured to change the ending, Isn't it important to stick to your guns on some things?

@satootaku We never said we were changing it :) We have ALWAYS had big plans for ME3. It isn't a response-It's been in the works

OK, well, if this is true, then I once again tilt towards the "f*ck you BioWare" camp, the ending needs to be fixed/changed.

Devs in bioware have to be off their meds if they think pre-ending dlc is going to be a hit. Props for keeping up the company pr-line, artistic integrity and all that.

I have on eproblem with this; if they already had something planned, why wait weeks until Muzyka's statement, while most fans are in an uproar?
Why wait until PAX to announce it, when tensions are still running high in the fan community and the debate gets more heated day by day (at least that is how it appears to me)?

From a PR pov, that can't be the right decision.

Well, after what's happened here with ME£, I can say with honesty than I'm never pre-ordering or "day 1" buying a BioWare games again, I'm going to see what other gamers have to say about it first.

People are reading the wrong thing into this. We have always had DLC plans for ME3. We said so long before launch. This is not news as ME and ME2 had DLCs.

This is not a comment about "endings" DLC, just DLC in general.

The world 'DLC' isn't mentioned, only 'ending'

Because all the commotions about the ending, everything what Bioware says now isn't believed.. And we will never know what plans you guys had for us after Mass Effect 3 release..

this makes me somewhat sad.. I always knew you guys had plans, but now it seems its because   "Fans " complained so much.

And now the tweet is gone. I really wonder if they just outsourced the Twitter feed with a script of responses, because it always seems to come back and bite them in the rear.

So someone asks about changing the ending, gets a "we planned something all along" as a direct response to the question. But it's not related to the ending.

Yeah, right...

Yeah, right...

Yeah, go ahead and question Chris, because he's totally guessing all of this based on that twitter message.
It's not like he's working at Bioware, in earshot and plain view of the people who are making this game.

No way in hell can his info be legit.<_<

Geez. Arguing with indoc folks feels like trying to make a friend stop adoring her abusive boyfriend.
Trying to reason for her sake, but even obvious facts being ignored...

So someone help me out here. If this DLC isn't what people are hoping for should I check out the Witcher series, Fallout New Vegas or Skyrim. Hell any RPG will do, so long as its good.

I played the first two, never finished the second one. I liked the setting enough. I keep hearing wonderful things about the Witcher series, so I'm pretty tempted there. I'm really open to suggestion to any good Western RPG.

If they planned thos all along and they release post release post ending DLC, paid or not, that means that they released an incomplete game. Free DLC means there's an attempt to make amends. Paid means... well a milestone in price gouging.

I don't believe for one minute that the tweet was referencing DLC in general. That was obviously a mess-up, and this is obviously a cover-up.

This always happens - something is leaked, and because the makers don't want the surprise let out early, they suppress it.
Example - Ridley Scott said the only link in 'Prometheus' to the 'Alien' franchise is Peter Weyland, yet in the trailer we see the space jockey and a whole lot more that is clearly 'Alien' related, without a doubt.

What else can you do but lie? Making no comment would be as bad as admitting it. It's sly, but it works.

You know. They could change the endings without really changing them.

They could just release a DLC that introduces a second god-child. And this second god-child is the twin brother of the first god-child. And these two morons have been involved in an personal conflict that spans over millions of years. So anyway, the second god-child simply sneaks up and backstabs the
first god-child and then proceeds to snap his fingers and undo everything that happens in the last minutes of the game.

Shepard then wakes up after he got hit by the reaper beam and
proceeds to the top of the Citadel with his friends. He and Garrus
then use the first god-child as target practice. After they run out of thermal clips they then travel to Omega accompanied with the second god-child and drink themself unconscious. All this while trying to get in to Aria's pants and quoting the best of Blasto.

Bioware could then say "We have ALWAYS had this plans for ME3! So our artistic cherry remains unpopped. Oh and please buy moar DLC plox...lol..."

Think that this DLC sounds like mumbo-jumbo? Well they have to follow the theme of the original ending after all.
