People are reading the wrong thing into this. We have always had DLC plans for ME3. We said so long before launch. This is not news as ME and ME2 had DLCs.

This is not a comment about "endings" DLC, just DLC in general.

So someone asks about changing the ending, gets a "we planned something all along" as a direct response to the question. But it's not related to the ending.

Yeah, right...

Yeah, go ahead and question Chris, because he's totally guessing all of this based on that twitter message.
It's not like he's working at Bioware, in earshot and plain view of the people who are making this game.

No way in hell can his info be legit.<_<

Geez. Arguing with indoc folks feels like trying to make a friend stop adoring her abusive boyfriend.
Trying to reason for her sake, but even obvious facts being ignored...

He is right though.

The twitter comment was in response to a question about the endings which didn't even make a reference to DLCs in general. If that comment was about DLCs then it would be analagous with typical comedy sketches with old people who are slightly deaf:

"Hey, are you going to release an Ending DLC?"
"What, son? No, I'm not a fan of Uncharted 3 but I sure like that Lara Croft."

...the response has nothing to do with the question if it was indeed about DLCs in general.

Well, if it's just regular DLC, I certainly won't be buying it. Why bother?

Who needs more info, I can't wait to pay for and play some pre-ending DLC, what with all the impact it will have on the current ending,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:wizard:

i dont know why ppl keep believing bioware did all this on purpose , first was the 1m1 theory, then the indocrination, then the genius marketing move etc...  all the DLC they keep talking about is stuff related to middle of the game, it has nothing to do with the ending, if we get a ending patch / DLC is because of the retake movement, the DLC he talked about its probably about omega or something.

Any DLC that adds content before the ending is worthless to me.

This sorta thing is what i mean. Its either bioware hinting that they never intended to end the game on such a farce and this was all just a publicity gamble that fecked up to try and release the ending to everyone at once.

OR

This is bioware blowing smoke up our ass to try and buy themselves more time to fix their 'artistic' deus ex ending and salvage their reputation with the tens of thousands of vocal fans who hated the ending

Either way it gives hope that some sort of resolution is in the works. personally as a bioware fanboy im gonna go with the first option. the ending diddnt even have ANY voice acting ffs not even while joker bailed. i find it hard to beleive they ever intended to just stop the story like that and be done.

My thoughts exactly when the "Buy more DLC!" message popped up.

"Why the hell would I?"

Hitler even asked, "How will that even work?"

Always been in the works...eh? We intetionally released a craptacular ending with the intent of adding to the crappy ending through dlc to make our fans who will be angry happier....we decided a craptastic ending was in the best interests of Bioware, Mass Effect, and EA.

Intentionally releasing an ending like that is bad juju.

I am confused more now than I was. I am also angrier with Bioware than I was. It's pretty apparent t the guy seems to think the fans had nothing to do with Bioware's ME3 plans and it was all the dev team master plan.

No sir, I don't like it.

Here's hoping for a Dragon Age: Awakenings type expansion pack that fully finishes the story.

I will ignore any pre ending DLC as if it were made of spider eggs. The only way I'd think about buying pre ending DLC is if the ending is fixed FIRST.

I think we need to take a wait and see approach on this. That's what I'm going to do.
