I think I'm developing bipolar disorder in response to the constant stream of real and fake updates regarding the ME3 ending/dlc content.
Well this is from the Mass Effect twitter and not 4chan.

The response was from @masseffect. Who knows who those people are, or if they're even in Canada.CronoDragoon wrote...
Unless I am wrong or Patrick misspoke, this is the first time Bioware has said that the ending to the current game is not the real ending, or that a real ending was in the works.
I doubt Patrick would respond to the question, and I think he's on vacation anyway.
sure its more official now. but that only means THOSE people will just be "officially" slighted instead of theoretically slighted.CronoDragoon wrote...

So they are not gonna change the original ending because there's no original ending yet. And, they had this planed before the actual game release.
Well Bioware, maybe I still love you after all.
i mean this HAS been said MANY times before now. I just hope more people will have this reaction instead of...
"well um I still hate you anyways for making me feel silly, hurumpf"

I don't get this, they always had post-ending DLC in the works in a game where 2/3 of the time you can no longer play as Shepard?
You play as Joker, and you're tasked with pointing at the things you want the crew to forage. Three exciting hours of gameplay.
Just like Pikmin!

that tweet said nothing dont overanalyze it. remember they made alot of statements about what me3 would be that turned out to..not be accurate. so dont take anything that is said as truth until they actually announce dlc and show it
admittadly ... i agree. so lets see what happens.
Hope for the best, expect the worst. Here's to hoping
Let's not get our hopes up just yet... i always had fath in BioWare, but we will have to wait and see..cg8900 wrote...

Of course they said they wouldn't change it. I found that obvious. But they are ADDING to it.

Sorry if this has been posted, but I just had a right place right time moment on the Mass Effect twitter feed.
@[/s]masseffect[/b] @[/s]PatrickWeekes[/b] did you feel pressured to change the ending, Isn't it important to stick to your guns on some things?
@[/s]satootaku[/b] We never said we were changing itWe have ALWAYS had big plans for ME3. It isn't a response-It's been in the works
"Dr. Ray Muzyka-
On one hand, some of our loyal fans are passionately expressing their displeasure about how their game concluded; we care about this feedback, and we’re planning to directly address it"
Ok so i am playing devils advocate here but if that twitter response is indicating there was a master plan all along then why not just make a statement to that fact?
IMHO that twitter response suggests to me that the above qoute from Dr Ray Muzyka's response to the community is yet more exagerated PR speak to appease the fans, or as i like to think of it, lies.
I am not saying the statement to address the endings is false, it just seems to me the twitter comment suggests they always planned something around the endings. That being the case why not simply say that?
I am fairly sure at some point Bioware hired Alistair Campbell (need to be in the UK to appreciate that one)

Maybe the "surprise, jackasses!" is part of the masterplan.

And if that's true, what of all the people who don't have internet connectivity on their consoles? They get to keep the "original ending". Yay?
If this is true, while I'm sure the ending would be more satisfying for me, I can't help but consider it a hugely bad decision to implement it in this way. It's screwing people over for no reason.
At least if it wasn't planned I can make the case they didn't screw people over intentionally.

Yeah, that's true. But I don't know, maybe we are looking to something bigger than a DLC here. Expasion disc maybe.
