I'm very unimpressed that the game allows you to have such a cool dog, but then forces you to choose between him and the other characters.

These chars are very interesting dialogue wise.

And well your dog is just awesome.  It sucks I have to choose.

I was thinking about that, but he seems to be a heavy part of the game story wise.

Evilish chars party;

Him(rogue) Morrigan (not healer....) Sten, Dog. all the way through the game for me ;D.

As a rogue I had Morrigan, Sten, and Dog, and it seemed to be a pretty balanced party

Dog is a missed opportunity I think. I wanted him to be by bloodhound seeking out darkspawn, perhaps ambush them on occasion. All he ever turns up are gifts, what about utlising other dog traits into gameplay? He shouldn't count as a party member - I wanted to bring him with me always

Yea same here. 

The storyline with alistair, morrigan & leilana is far too interesting but at the same time the dog is just so awesome. lol

4 party limit is annoying, but that's the KOTOR way BW is embracing now.



I much prefer BG2 style 6 player party + 3 pets each... 10000x more fun and more epic feeling.

At least it should be 5 party members. With dog always with you. He's a dog and a good dog never leaves his master alone
