I originally bought a collectors edition of Mass Effect 2, and through it got all the DLC and various preorder and promtional DLC codes. I lent that copy to a friend thinking I would be playing way more of ME3. However I now have a crazy urge to play 2 again and dont want to interupt my friends playthrough of 2.
So I was wondering if I buy a digital download copy of ME2 from amazon will my DLC and Character Saves be compatable with the saves and DLC that I made/bought with my Collectors Edition DVD install?

The answer to this question is yes, yes you can use all the dlc that you have bought/unlocked for the PC with different copies of the game.
Last night I gave in and bought the Amazon digital download, erased the install from my collectors edition disk, reinstalled the DLC from downloads that I had of them from the original purchases and everything is working just fine.
