Frank Castle has seen his family killed, sustained terrible, gruesome injuries, fought superheroes (and super villains), and even become Frankencastle. Now, Marvel is shooting him into space.
Written by Frank Tieri (writer of Marvel vs. Capcom 3) with art byMark Texeira, Space: Punisher will launch in July 2012 as a four-issue mini-series. It doesn't appear to have any ties to Greg Rucka's ongoing Punisher series, but rather a standalone tale that is intentionally bizarre.
Some people like it when Frank is reserved for the more grounded tales, but I admit it's always fun to find him out of his comfort zone of the concrete jungle.
