What does it mean when a topic gets completely deleted? does it mean that everything in it was legit and EA/bioware doesn't want it to get out?
Generally, yeah, its a sign of a coverup. Usually if its off topic, itll just get closed with a message not to. If its actually detrimental, itll get deleted.

Then why was the topic deleted instead of a mod locking it under the banner of "fake"??

i think it gives credence to a "cover up", ether way if its true or not EA is on a slippery slope. its a shame there taking a once amazing developer (bioware) down with them.

Shouldn't something like this be bigger news? I know it could all be faked but it should still be getting more attention. People need to know what EA is doing and has been doing over the past years.
Really, people are surprised that stuff like this was happening? I thought it was pretty much a given, to be honest.
And I seriously doubt they're the only company looking to use social media to sneakily prop up their companies. It's the world we live in.

Yep. Thanks! When I try to make it clickable, it usually ends badly.

Yeah the forum posting tools are a bit wonky at times, especially when it comes to layout and editing.

Most of the 4chan stuff that has been posted here a mod like Prestly came and said it was fake (I don't know if he did the same about "the truth ending DLC leak") but most channel 4 stuff is talked about then a mod shows up and locks it
This time it just went completely off the radar.

Not surprised about it actually. What pisses me off is that no one does a damn thing about it? Like I said before, why is it that EA is just allowed to acquire and subsequently ruin whatever want. Why is it that developers sell themselves out for this kind of crap? I guess their shareholders and investors are simply all a bunch of money hungry fools.

They have to know that by deleting stuff like this they are just blowing it out of proportion, right?
Usually by deleting things they hope it wasn't up long enough for people to see it since it seems it was up long enough for a good number of people here to see it chances are they'll try to avoid this thread or lock it as opposd to deleting it since that will tip everyone off that they're hiding something.

What's the difference anyways? They're pretty much the same company, I don't get why people still think BioWare is "innocent" in all this. After all they did agree to get acquired by EA, they could've chosen to say no but they said yes. Besides with everything they've done lately, its pretty clear that BioWare and EA are the same.

i really hope it isnt them
heres an article on it
EA would make GTA without Rockstar: That's the implication, anyway
Just what is up with Electronic Arts? EA has gone all-out and dropped pretensions of having learned the lessons that CEO John Riccitiello claimed to have learned. As EA gears up for the hostile takeover of Take-Two, Riccitiello has further driven fears into gamers that his company intends to eat the industry -- by implying that EA would continue Grand Theft Auto without Rockstar, if need be.Riccitiello has "no fear that the value EA placed on Take-Two could be damaged if the trio of Rockstar creators decided not to pursue further Grand Theft Auto titles after the latest release.""There is no doubt that EA is several times larger than Take-Two - everyday somebody walks in and somebody walks out. If the wrong guy walks out, we have an issue to deal with. But we don't stop making games."Longtime readers will know that I have nothing against the activities of so-called "evil" corporations, but even I'm disturbed by EA's recent actions, especially since they seem to go against everything that Riccitiello has been saying for the past year. It appears that, while on the cusp of regaining some respect in this industry, EA has decided to shed the sheep's clothing and go on a rampage."The big headline here is that our primary interest is in Rockstar and the intellectual properties around Rockstar", stated Riccitiello to the BBC, confirming Take-Two's own theory that EA wants Grand Theft Auto, and the profits associated with the upcoming GTA IV. Just ... damn. It's like they're reveling in how ruthless they are over at EA.
