Miranda is my first and favourite, even though Liara is better written and has a lot more content.
Too bad that Miranda's romance is better if she dies.
I thought this was completely unfair. I have several Shepards and each of them romanced a different character. I'm attracted to a lot of different types of women IRL, so I like to see how each of the romances compare and contrast in game throughout multiple playthroughs. I'm on my second playthrough now with Liara, and I was with Miranda on my first playthrough. I thought Miranda's was really lacking, unfortunately. If she ends up dying, she has a heart-wrenching goodbye, but it's kind of mediocre if she lives. Seems kind of pointless to punish the player with shorter and less-meaningful dialogue for making the RIGHT decisions to keep her alive.

Not a fan of Tali at all. Killed her at the first opportunity in ME3... along with everyone single member of her race muahahaha.

In ME1, setup a 3some with Kaiden and Liara, Kaiden wussed out, so Liara.
In ME2, Garrus, but boinked Liara after the events of the Shadow Broker. I boinked Garrus after SB mission, he seemed cool with my polyamory.
In ME3, Garrus. Maybe I should have tried to 3some a Garrus-Liara setup? Can you do that?
For BoyShep-
In ME1, Liara. I found Ashley racist, so she dead, brah.
In ME2, Jack. Was very tempted by Tali, but I think Jack more damaged. I wanted to show her there was such a thing as love that didn't end in betrayal. I boinked Liara after the events of the Shadow Broker. I boinked Jack after SB mission, she seemed cool with my polyamory.
In ME3, well, I've only just started playing my BoyShep in ME3. Maybe Tali?
Heh... about Jack in me2...
While I can understand boinking for the sake of boinking isn't it a little hmm "fake" (for lack of a better word) to romance if you wanna fix and not due to love?
I probably just misunderstood you though.
EDIT: I kinda meant extrapolating game luff to real life luff situations.

Tali was 22 in ME1, 24 in ME2. Romance was never alluded to in ME1. Technically Shepard was 29 in both titles. And I agree about Jack...78stonewobble wrote...

Tali. Though, she didn't catch my attention until AFTER I fell from space and exploded into a million pieces...lost the heart of Ashley because she thought I was a Cerberus-cyborg-monster...and Talis father was killed by the Geth intruders.
Her accent, nervous-hands, and "body language" drove me nuts. Good nuts.
Helping Tali get her homeworld back was a huge WIN.
Nicely put but I thought there was something back in ME1 as well... tho there it was a bit "creepy" sposed to be like well... a teen?
EDIT: I didn't like Jack so much. She came across as an ass more than hurt, angry and independent. Atleast to me.

"I cannot resist that adorable mug of yours! I would have to throw a cup of acid in it to keep it from having power over me."
Also she's the only female character with Renegade inclinations. Big deal pour moi.

They've got over 400 to choose from. Only come in red, green, or blue thoughFarbautisonn wrote...
Jack. As a person who has known a few "Jacks", Im pretty sure that whoever wrote Jacks story has too. I found it impressive that a character that complex was boiled down to so few lines in dialogue. Don't know who wrote it but whoever did should get two cupcakes. Extra sprinkles too.

On my playthrough of me1 i was really unsure if i was interested in ashley or liara. There were things i found interesting about both. Liara was so cute an innocent. Ash was spiritual.
It was all sorted out for me in the scene when you walk in on ash talking on the vid phone to her sister about how cute you are and giggling like a school girl. It was so adoreable how she tried to not act embarrased and be professional. Through the course of me1 she would tease you and the tone of her calling you "skipper" became endering. I was very pleased with this playthrough.
Fast forward to me2. WTF a hug scene and a lecture after i came back from the dead just to see her again! And she wont even take my vid calls. I was so mad i was really tempted to go for tali. How she handled her crush on me was very endearing. But no i held on for me3.
I was so happy to see how they retextured ash and then she is still giving me the cold shoulder.... i press on. I take every opportunity to visit her or buy gifts. She still dosent trust me. So much she pulls a gun on me with intent to shoot! By now she has wasted a game and a half not trusting me !&#*.
When i finnaly make some headway convincing her i am still the same sheapard she fell for and she is the only woman for me i get some partial resolution. But even up to the final scene i cant shake the feeling that she dosent quite trust me and that comerads in love vibe we had is gone.

It's the only relationship that makes me feel like my Shep is in a relationship with someone mature rather than with someone fresh out of adolescence.

Ashley Williams. She is one of the most in depth characters in the entire game, and the relationship with Shep feels real...they have problems and issues, different opinions, are separated for years, but they sort it out in the end cause they love each other. The Shepley romance is canon in my mind, they go perfect together.
