Hello again, I posted a while back because I had trouble with some area load stutter but I edited some values in the coalesced.bin with the editor. I increased the poolsize value and disabled background streaming and my stuttering is almost gone and it has improved a lot. Now im worried because I dont want to get banned from multiplayer for applying a performance fix because I edited the coalesced file. Will I get banned for this?
Good fix but...

Hey mate - on which system are you running the game? I've also experienced stuttering in ME2 and briefly in ME3 - it turned out that it was an issue with Audio Hardware Acceleration being set to max in DirectX (ME2 and WinXP) and the same issue on Win7 and ME3 when I accidentally toggled Enable Audio to ON in the Audio tab on the Mass Effect 3 Configuration Utility. After setting it back to Default - no stuttering.
And in reference to your question - no idea if they'll ban you for your edits - even if you caught a moderator and asked the question I doubt he'd know how EA might act (Battlefield 3 anyone?).
best of luck.
Hold the line.

Thanks for the reply!
I Always back up my original coalesced file so I'll use that one when using multiplayer and I will try the sound thing. By the way my system is terrible and im surprised that it runs mass effect so well. It's an intel core2duo 1.8ghz with 4gb ram and a 9600gt.
