There is still hope, despite what media personalities say. Changing the ending will only benefit Bioware in the long run.

If anyone high up at BioWare is reading this, I urge you to watch this video. I assure you it isn't hateful or whiny in any way, it's a thoughtful bit of constructive criticism, and gives a clear, detailed set of reasons why most of us think the ending didn't work.

I don't usually have the attention span for these kinds of videos. And yet, I was nodding along (and laughing at times) with the whole thing. Excellent work, now if only we could get the higher ups at BioWare to watch it.
Easy. Change the topic to "An Emotion-Free, Theory-Free Analysis of The Ending That Will Put An End To All Speculation"

But the guy is missing that...punch of Mike S. from RLM as Mr. Plinkett.

I posted it to their FB page. They thanked me (in traditional fashion)... and about 30 minutes later said they'd almost finished watching it and were forwarding it to the devs. So, for those of you who still have faith that Bioware listens to their fans, there's some hope there. What they decide to do about it, obviously, is their choice.
This is great news for me.
Entertainment is a weird thing. You give people a bunch of sensory input, and for some reason some of it sticks and fans develop an unhealthy preoccupation with it, just like I did with Mass Effect. Why? Who the **** knows. I'm not a shrink.
But if someone at Bioware is watching, that was honestly my goal. For some ****ed-up reason that no one can properly understand or articulate, this is really, really important, and I hope that they do the right thing here.
I hope they appreciate how quickly all their various foibles and missteps will be forgiven if they just do right by their fans.

They've seen it .... whether they care is another matter entirely.

Hope they don't choose the "control" option

Write a 'satisfying' ending and fans will trust Bioware to not 'leave them hanging' in the future. They'll know Bioware cares for their fans!
