Took me a while to find this thread, coming from r/masseffect. Very impressed, should be played to Bioware at PAX or at least seen.

Absolutely spot on. BioWare MUST be made to watch this.

Well done, nothing to add. They took the world&characters&tone and snuffed them in the last minutes.

Cathartic. You used the RLM style well. The Plinkett reviews are so good because they point out what you already know inside you, but express it better than you ever could yourself. I got the feeling of "that's why I didn't like this". I can now better articulate my own feelings thanks to you. I hope that you have an opportunity to do similar works in the future, because I would enjoy watching them.
To anyone that complains that you need your own style, I would like to remind them that you develop your own style from emulating what you like. He did this as himself, not in character, that is already a significant difference between him and Mike.

Red Letter is going one too! Nice!
Not that Bioware cares. They just trolled a million people.
If they're trolling, it means they care

I like this video. It makes me depressed after he's so clearly outlined just how epically Bioware screwed up. But it is a good video.

While I don't think it takes 39mins to explain why this ending is an atrocity, I've nevertheless watched through the whole thing - and to quote Tali: "It was totally worth it"
Here's hoping some higher up at Bioware will get a chance to see it.
Then again, seeing how cheerfully they've so far ignored several hundreds of pages and hours of video with almost equally detailed feedback in favor of "clarification", it probably won't happen. They seem to be dead set on letting this franchise crash and burn - and the whole company, as far as I'm concerned

Good post.
I especially like the bit about the false assumption that dark is deep and vice versa.
Mass Effect 1 and 2 weren't grim, and you didn't need to get anyone killed to feel "depth" of 2.
