Great video. I got a kick out of it and it covered my problems with the ending.

More importantly, it wasted over a half hour of time at work. Thanks!

I agreed with pretty much everything the guy in the video said.

The only thing I could possibly not agree with is the "throw out the hologram kid" bit. At least not totally. I think it could be made to work with some work but I understand that it much just be easier/better to fling out the hologram kid bit and start again.

This is wonderful ! I hope Bioware takes notice and act upon those explanations rather than botching the ending some more in the upcoming DLC.

Disappointed that he chose to copy another guys style by impersonating redlettermedia.

Actually, I have to agree here.  Don't get me wrong;  it was an excellent video in and of itself, and probably one of the best explanations I've seen yet of how the endings did us and the Mass Effect series so terribly wrong.

I just think it could've been accomplished without a deliberate mimicking of the Plinkett reviews' style and format.  In fact, whether the OP meant to do this or not, I feel he actually decreased the value of the video's content somewhat by making it look like he was trying to one-up Red Letter Media.  Again, that's probably not what he meant to do, but that's how it looks.

Oh well.  What's done is done.  Excellent analysis, nonetheless, so props for that.

Maybe if he didn't mentioned it first, few would have noticed, I didn't know RLM nor Plinkett before finishing the video, and I only learned that it was inspired by it when I came here.

I believe this is a pretty standard "review" format, that use a clear plan and structure, use well video clips to emphasize the reviewer points, and is above all well documented.

I don't know what's so special with RLM reviews nor what is so blatant in this video, it only seemed like a good explanation that summarized all key aspects of what is wrong with ME3 ending.

This one was amazingly good, even if he used alot of sarcasm so that the intelligent viewers understood the major issue with ME3,

This video was great. It really gets to the root problem with the ending: The Kid. Great job of explaining all the off-shoot problems that root causes.

The Kid is an inherently flawed character. BW just needs to simply finish the story.

BTW, I thought the kid worked fine when he was just symbolism for Shepard's guilt (dream sequences), why did they feel the need to turn him into... whatever they turned him into?

Before i watched this video i was of the opinion that while not the best, the ending was salvageable with some clarification. The video has pretty much shredded that.

For the people complaining that it rips of red letter media remember that he mentions it in the video himself. Doing it in the style of the plinkett review also accomplished a very important goal. It associated it directly with a logical breakdown of legitimate problems with a sci fi franchise and it makes a 40 min review watchable.

I enjoyed the video and couldn't find anything I disagree with. Well played OP, well played.

Love it

First reaction was 40 minutes! to hell with that, so I set it to play whilst I did other stuff, after 5 minutes I was glued to it.

This is by far the strongest arguement I have seen about why I am upset at the endings. It is worth a full watch through.

Wow. Some old points and some new, all beautifully made, and in a civil and endearing manner.

Unfortunately, I think that what is actually going to happen is that all of these voices will be dismissed as 1) angry and entitled, which happens to be a minority around here, and 2) that we still only dislike this ending because we don't understand it, can't grasp its merit, and that "clarifying" it will make it all better

Then, we're going to get some paid dlc that maybe fixes a couple continuity issues (ie here's why the mass relays didn't kill everyone) without addressing the core problems. Everyone will still be mad. The PR response will go something like this: "hey, we changed it and they were still unhappy. I guess we were never going to please everyone, but we tried. Did you see the reviews by the way?"

The end!

I'm a big fan of the Plinkett reviews, and I acknowledged their influence in the video. At the same time, IMO, no one can have a monopoly on the idea of creating a video review in that same style.

Those reviews were definitely an inspiration for me though.

Yeah, I mean how many internet reviewers got started by copying the Angry Nintendo Nerd?  Even if you used someone else's style, let me assure you that you did it well and you absolutely made it your own.

Exactly, it doesn''t matter who says these things... the important thing is that it is said, and seen by Bioware.
