Are you serious? How about you watch them. They convey all of the basic principles this guy is merely regurgitating, which are applicable to any story of this genre. (Bioware could learn plenty from them as such, and also because they're far more comprehensive.)
All this guy did was take the substance of the SWPM review, slightly retweak it (if not plaigerize it) to fit ME3, and you people are treating it as if it's some profound epiphany from on high; which is rendered even more absurd given that there's nothing in this video that hasn't been stated a thousand times prior in prose.
P.S. *Correction.* He does admit he's ripping it off.
Wow, you're really letting this get to you, aren't you?

Very very very very well done. Every minute worth it. BioWare should take the time to watch it. As an incentive: It contains a lot of praise too . Has anyone linked it or transcribed it for the official sticky ending feedback thread yet?
Cool video --- though I wish he didn't focus on the last 5 minutes as much, and worked in some mentions how the entire Earth mission was lacking. No emotional impact at all.
That, and I had to skip thru a lot of the Star Trek stuff because I don't have that kind of time on my hands.
But anything saying that BW royally screwed the ending is a-okay in my book.
If anything, this guy is smart getting attention with all of this.
this surprises you? Youtube is a place of unemployed losers and children. The place people go to find fame by dancing at an apple store, or crying to leave britney alone. Same place people like El Presidor got hitting trees, or Chad Warden got making fun of the 360. or Boxxy acting crazy. trolls troll. Youtube is full of them. this guy like sigga are trolling the Retake by either making fun or pretending to be on their side for thousands of hits.
Happens all the time even with game reviews. everyone checks out the low score review. or pretends to have the latest trailer and its a fake

Yeah, because that really invalidates all the points he makes and is relevant to this thread.
After seeing that youtube vid, "CLARIFYING" will just not cut it. I can't get over how right he was about the Genophage resolution. The guy in the video is right. Lose the god child thing, kill it with fire, throw it out an airlock, and then fire a few missles at it, just to be sure.
Thanks for posting the link OP
Yeah his points on starchild really hit home for me too. Kill it with fire.
I found this, it's AWESOME. I LOVE it, I find it very good and reccomend everyone watch it.
While not the worst video I've ever seen, it's rather protracted and redundant. It's also a blatant, and very poor, rip off of the Star Wars review I've cited previously here:
About that review. Anyone who hasn't watched them should. They're better than the actual Star Wars movies.
P.S. In a testament to my nerdiness, I actually remember the Star Trek episode from which that excerpt is taken. Picard is on trial in this scene. The woman, whose words are muted, is the prosecutor, and, the daughter of the man Picard is quoting. She becomes enraged when Picard uses a statement from her own father to refute her, at which point she stands and dispenses a visceral tirade culminating with something to the effect of, "I've brought down bigger men than you Picard." After this, realizing she's both embarrassed and revealed herself biased in front of everyone present, thereby destroying the credibility of her case, she walks out in the middle of the proceedings (promptly followed by the attending Starfleet representative); the case against Picard susbequently being dismissed. In the end, she sees the error of her ways, and she and Picard end up reconciling before she leaves the ship. /Fin. LuLz.
I agree with you on some level. For those that haven't seen Red Letter Media's reviews, this comes off as a poor imitation.
But, I think you are being beyond harsh with it. Because, this guy takes all the points that are valid, and puts them into one coherent video. Even if it's already been said, even if he's not the best voice actor. It's still a well paced and structured video that compiles all the issues with the ending.
For a lot of people, all the various criticisms of the ending have been scattered. And this does a good job roping them all together. Yes, I agree that it's not the best technical video (in terms of production, and the guy's dead pan not reaching Plinkett level) - it's still a great video for many.
So not sure why you are getting so upset about it.

but that's precisely the reason he's getting the attention - because it's presented normally, without manic emotion, and without crazy ideas out of left field.

Actually, SWPM sucked too for many of the same reasons. I bet if you mad a review video of teh Matrix sequals it would be almost the same thing too. There are only so many reasons why a bad story is a bad story. And attacking the messenger is not going to make him wrong.
