Thanks to the OP for posting the link, I really enjoyed watching it.

If BioWare can set their egos aside for awhile, this is the what they should be watching. I'm not particularly hopeful though - the first step towards truly fixing a problem is admitting your mistakes, and I don't think that's going to happen. I think we might get more exposition by the Starchild ("clarity") and some sort of Animal House-style slideshow for our squadmates ("closure"), aimed mostly at defusing the media attention ("Look everyone, we gave them what they wanted! See how we listen to our fans!").

Just watched this. It is brilliant and explains exactly why everyone thinks the ending of ME3 sucks.

The ending needs to make sense people. There are narrative rules that have to be followed or you get the kind of backlash that Bioware is experiencing now.

I agree with the guy on the video. The ending is broken. All the hard work, all the brilliance, all the genius that made this franchise the greatest ever is totally thrown away by a broken, broken ending.

Having Shepard live and defeat the Reapers, and preserve the mass relays would be good. Then any DLC could be about further resolution. How the galaxy is coping with the genophage being cured. How the Quarians and Geth are getting along. Etc.

But either way give us an ending that makes sense. Not the Normandy flying for no apparent reason to get stranded somewhere. Not some circular nonsense (and thematically contradictory) about the role of the Reapers. Synthics created to kill organics to keep organics from being killed by synthetics. No
