Yougottawanna: I would love to see you analyze the relationship between EA and BioWare, but if you do something like that, I'd want to see a lot of sources cited in the video. I'd much rather see a fair, journalistic approach than an editorial one for that topic.

As for the other topics, I don't know what more can be said about the Indoctrination Theory... but after seeing this video, I'm more than willing to listen to anything new you'd have to add.

he completely pwns anyone who justifies the current endings and evidently knows and understands writing a whole lot more than who BioWare hired to finish this series.

hey BioWare, it speaks LOADS about how much we love this series and how botched that ending was that we would actually sit through a video that long. any other game or series and I would have been TLDWatch.

you can fix it if you want to. If you don't, you don't want your fanbas's money on future projects I guess. I will buy GOOD future BioWare stuff, but only after I have watched youtube vids about it and read reviews from actual players. Your days of getting my pre-order money are gone. If you don't fix the ending, your days of getting my ME DLC money is gone as well.

That guy literally sums up everything. I really do love people who argue intelligently. Anyone got any rebuttal videos that support the ending on the strength of the game's story? Yeah I thought not...

I wonder if Bioware realized they were about to create a fan base of "trekkies" (for lack of an original term) When Mass Effect launched for the first time.

Probably not like they realized they were about to lose them when they accidentally misplaced the real ending and instead included a pitch from the first story board meeting.

You may have to brace yourself for disappointment.... I can't claim to have any inside knowledge of the nuts and bolts of their working relationship, though I have done what research I can considering I'm just one guy with a computer. In this case it probably would be more of an editorial approach.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. My plan at the moment is to do a second video that covers the indoctrination theory and then springboards into Bioware/EA stuff from there. Based on how long it took me to do the last video, this one should be ready by Monday or earlier.

Finally got around to watching the video.It's very good. I don't like sci-fi being pigeonholed into three categories (especially when those all came from different mediums origionally: TV, Movie and Novel) but it's a minor point. The rest of the argument was really good and I especially liked how he referenced what a good job they did on the Tuchanka story arc. When you have that large a contrast in quality within the same game, then there is a serious problem and the ending is really the worst time to suddenly become slack.
