For once, I think EA will actually benefit us (influence on ending dlc)

The reason they are probably being hush right now is do that people will buy the game (thinking it was complete) instead of waiting for the real ending to come out when the price might be cheaper. That's my theory anyway . If I'm wrong, then Bioware and EA are going to lose a lot of money. I doubt EA would let that happen.
I think at this point the only people who don't know about the ending are the people who also would not hear about an announcement of a new ending so keeping the 'real' ending hush hush would have no impact on them or a sale.

If they make a DLC that changes the ending, then just don't buy it. That way your ending doesn't have to change and the people who want the ending changed get what they wanted. It's a win-win!EternalAmbiguity wrote...
but what about loyal fans who loved the ending?
And, btw, I'm 99% percent certain there's a thread on here citing someone om the ME3 team saying that WAS the intended ending.
Make that 99.9%.

I love your wording here, as if we're not "loyal".
Or do you equate loyalty with obedience? .... actually, that explains a lot.

the part where the comunautie manager jumped of the sinking boat
and the fact that not even 1/3 of the beta players ended up buying the game
sadly at that time the old crowd already had C&C3 to get used to the idea that C&C was dead

Hey, it's you again, who comes to attack me everytime you can. *tips hat*
If you'd look down the page a bit, I was referring to OP actually claiming that we--fans who liked the ending--are not "loyal."

Maybe nobody knew exactly what the ending would be when it came out? Your logic astounds me.
You can wait until a games been out a few day before buying... that too logical for you?

Don't get the DLC if there is one.

Except BIoware did a bait n' switch on everybody by promising something and delivering something vastly different.
Had they been upfront - guess how many would have taken that advice and not bought the game..... too many for EAWares taste properly consdering how many seem to have issues with the current ending.

Honestly, don't bother with them. All they do is put people down and troll every post that doesn't agree with them.

No one wants to purchase an explanation for an ending. A good ending doesn't need an explanation, much less one that requires money to access. However, when it comes to a whole new ending that will give us what we want, many of us would gladly Pay $10-15 so that $200 worth of games aren't ruined like they are now (I can't bring myself to even touch anything ME related).
Please tell me how you know that.
Because it's pure speculation.
Check this out, from Ray Muzyka, co-founder of BW.
Please show me where you see anything about ending DLC, as opposed to explanations and "closure" and "clarity to questions" <--those are quotes.

Look man, I thought the endings were absolute tripe, was hugely disappointed in the game, and voiced my dissatisfaction on here accordingly...
...yeah, like two weeks ago.
But this - this is bordering on being downright psychotic. I don't think I've ever seen people get this worked up (for this long, at least) over something as simple as a crappy ending. You guys spend every waking hour on the forums grasping at and scrutinizing every single piece of information that you can find, and relentlessly rail against anyone who doesn't agree with your views on this matter.
And using a charity to take the media heat off of your ass and drum up support...? I had reservations about that from the beginning - but when I heard about people demanding refunds because they thought their money was going directly towards a new ending, I just facepalmed harder than I ever have in my life.
It really makes me sick - it's just gone way too far at this point. Hell, the very concept of RME is flawed at its core - you can't "retake" what was never yours to begin with.
Seriously, you folks are obsessed - for nearly a month this has been going on now. You all need to take a step back from this - maybe go outside and get some fresh air, or something else to clear your heads.
Just do something that doesn't involve obsessing over and arguing about ME3's ending - for your own sakes as well as others.

There isn't going to be ending DLC, it's been said by Hudson before. They stand by their writers and aren't changing the ending, all they're going to do is clarify and explain.

If they actually had a good PR team, they could have stopped all of this in the first week by saying simply "the real ending is coming soon". Instead, they sacrificed a lot of money to keep everything a secret until April in order to preserve the greatest plot twist ever.
Any PR team that admitted they sold you a game without a real ending would be fired immediately. This was not some elaborate plan some are making it out to be. They had a schedule to meet, this was the best they could do.

It's hilarious.
He's not wrong. They've sent death threats to bioware and people in this community, they have used a charity as a shield, asked for refunds against said charity, filed FTC and BBB complaints...
So I don't get where the 'accusations' are? It's been proven that many people in RTE have acted this way. Not all, but a lot. Yourself included.
And I've yet to see anyone on the other side, at least on BSN, do something to that extreme.
So, he's not doing anything he's accusing RTE of doing, actually.
