Sure but only if im involed in making it. So i can stop Bioware from ruining it. Also make sure that it's Rated M and no kids get to pay it.tjmax wrote...
One of the ending reviewers mentioned about the devs concidering making mass an MMO.
I absolutly would not be interested in an MMO around Mass Effect.
Too many MMO's already out there for one and if they think this uprisings bad wait till they have an MMO mentality forums where every single thing is a major drama. PVP forums blowing up with exploit this and so and so is over powered and .... by the time your done tweeking the game to fix everything people are ****ing about you may as well toss your original concept out the window cause nothings going to be left of it.
Just my 2 cents.
lol for assuming that kids are the worst mmo players out there... and that we all want what you think it's right.

I wouldn't play it.
The same stuff with the same people in the same places for all the new players. The additionally terrible graphics and server-side management issues. Not a chance.

I think people enjoyed ME because of the characters and the story, not becaues it's in SPAAAAAACE or something.
In a MMO you can't be special like Shepard nor have a big epic story. In the end they're all texts to prevent you from taking your loot & level
So NO please GOD NO no No MEO
Exactly - the ME games were single player and were successful because *you* get to become the most important person in the universe. You cannot do that in an MMO which defeats the entire appeal of the ME games.
This is also why ending the ME series with an ending that says "you are irrelevant - and dead" is not sitting well with the paying customers. Bioware seems to have completely forgotten why the ME games were popular in the first place.

In fact, I have just cancelled my TOR subscription. Bioware, if nothing has been done for a new ending of ME3, then no another penny from my wallet.

I'll wait to see what Bioware/EA intends to do with this title before passing judgement.

I don't play games online so the characters in my squad can go "LOL! I am 1337!" every time they make a kill, or "Screw this!" (rage quit) every time they get killed, and frankly all the MMO's I tried out, the stories never really quite suspend disbelief.
Only the single-player story-driven experience has ever done that for me.
Multiplayer is fine for racing games, FPS shooters that don't have a story attached, and anything else you can put aside after a few rounds... But not story-driven game play.
This is why I don't play World of Warcraft, for example, or any other type of MMO.
So no, I wouldn't play a Mass Effect MMO either.
Edit: Also, I know somene mentioned it above, so this is credit for them for putting this fact in my head too, but another reason why Mass Effect wouldn't work as an MMO is because the whole point of the story is your playable character is an important galaxy-changing figurehead. That ort of thing isn't possible in an MMO, where all of the other characters are also playing for the same goals and challenges... And no player's characters are special at all.
That's the difference between single-player and multi-player. When you go into story-escapism, you're doing it in order to feel special, to feel like you CAN save the galaxy, so on, so forth.
This is why I simultaneously hate the lack of real choice regarding the endings, and why I think MMO games are a waste of effort and time. I play to escape the rat race, not to bring it with me into fictional worlds.

If they made a ME4 i'd probably buy it, just like i'll probably buy Halo 4. I wouldn't be thrilled about the idea of ME4, I think at this point they should put the series to rest, and thats the same attitude I have towards the Halo universe.
