No thanks. They might end up making male Shep canon, give players some unfulfilling mission that ends up having us kill him maybe (because lots of speculation), and then call it a day.
Mass effect MMO - would you play it?

If they fix this nonsense of and ending in ME3 and if that MMO has no monthly fee, I would consider it since I love MMO's. I would love to play as an Asari or Krogan female

MMO's are too mainstream these days
, people wont stick anymore the way they did with WoW, since theres so many of them, imo SWToR was good, but i lost interest after making 3 lvl 50's, nothing really keeping me around, WoW kept me satisfied from vanilla untill now (cataclysm), simply because i was there from the start, right now there are too many interesting MMO's, we all wanna try them, leaving our attention span short. So no ill probably not play a Mass effect MMO

Honestly if ME3's not fixed no way in hell. If it is I'll look at it and judge it on it's merits.

The only MMO I'd ever play would be something akin to DAoC: focus on RvR and at least 3 factions.
But in the case of a ME MMO, I wouldn't play it even if it did have a focus on RvR and 3 factions...

No.
Bioware isn't going to alienate the biggest chunks (consoles) of their fan base with a ****ty MMO.

What would be the point? If it's post Shepard trilogy then the Mass Effect universe, as we know it, is dead due to the destruction or, if the control ending speculation is true, the severe damage of the Mass Relays. And if it's pre Shepard trilogy then we all know where it leads. So, no...

Haven't been into an MMO since City of Heroes. Plus, what better way to shaft their claim of "choices matter!" than to force a canonical choice on the ME3 endings?

I'm into MMOs but I wouldn't play a ME mmo. I like ME as a SP RPG and couldn't have it any other way

Yes. Infact I wish SW:TOR was a Mass Effect mmo instead of a Star Wars one.
A fully voiced MMO third person shooter set in the ME universe using TOR's style of quests/dialogue? What's not to love.
Species quests instead of class quests though.

I'm not into MMO's. Even if ME3 had ended at the same spectacular level the first two had, I wouldn't play a follow-up MMO. Not going to happen.

I play ME because it is SP, I never asked for MP neither I care for it. MP generally means that your character is less important in order to balance importance of the other characters. It completely destroys uniqueness. Put you time into the story, instead of trying to move the whole genre.
So no, thank you.

i hope they'll do it, pump in several millions like in SWTOR and fail horrible
ea aswell as bioware goes out of business and they have to sell the ME license and several others, which then get picked up by competent devs and made awesome again.
one can only hope
i would like that
@the topic:
If they fix the ending and if MMO was like eve online with planet-side action (can be less planets than in eve)
then maybe - just maybe.

Agreed, after ME3, not interested in buying anymore ME products. I also decided not to buy any BioWare / EA products in reaction to the ending, which lead to the cancellation of my Subscription for SW:TOR.
If this ending had never happened, I would probably try the MMO, pre-ordering it and buying it day1 as I used to buy up BioWare / EA products. But when they betray you, well, your loyalties change.

Unless it offers player freedom on an unprecedented (and by that I mean on a level like EVE online, which is often treated like Ron Paul is by the media, hence "unprecedented" even if it has already been done).
That is to say: Sandbox MMO, not Theme Park. anything less does not due justice to the lore of the ME universe.
Otherwise, never.
(Also, I want a CSM style Group)
This is assuming they fix the ending. If they do not fix it, it is a moot point in my mind, as I shall not be purchasing any Bioware or EA products if the ending is not fixed.
HOLD THE LINE
Edit: really surprised by the lack of comparisons to EVE online, as imo, EVE universe is closest in terms of complexities to the ME one (granted most EVE complexities are player driven/created but my point should be understood)
I think I need to go to SA now and ask about extending Goonfleet as a batarian raiding group.

Hell yes.. I do not have the mmophobia issues people seems to have here, nor I am that egocentric that I need a whole story based around my own character.
As long as they keep the SAME combat as the ME3 multiplayer, I would pay double the sub of a regular mmo to play it.
I like their SWTOR but I do not want their combat type or art direction into ME.

No - I would not... I would rather expanded the Mass Effect Universe with more game franchise and spin offs instead. The only MMO I'm interested in is Guild Wars 2 and DCUO at this point both a good and both are free to play once you buy the game. I burned out on WoW for the final time with Cata at some point you just want to play the game. Not wait around for ever to find a tank.

The ME is a good one and love it. it would have to be set after the end of ME where we get a better ending. Then pay for £35 for the game then no monthly fee to pay. Up small payment for bit and bob is the game. Like ammo type and amour, or fast travel to new system if you not got a ship.
I do not like the have to pay every month games. Like WOW
But over all yes I might do.
