If it was a full sandbox set with the races and locations i love from single player definately. Would i pre order this time around before reading reviews. Definately not.

Nope no way in hell, if they make an ME MMO then this series is dead to me and we wont see anything in 10-15 years because they will focus all effort on it

If they come out with a truly innovative MMO, just maybe. If they just do another WoW clone at an attempt the milk the franchise, hells no. First, they have to sort out the mess that is ME3's ending though. I think most people who hated it wouldn't touch anything ME related if it stays like that.

Not likely. Its hard enough finding 15-20 minutes where I can play a multiplayer match undisturbed. I stopped playing MMOs years ago because there is no feasible way to pause and walk away.
Unfortunately, without a way to pause things... I have to consider MMOs off the table in my life.

Doesn't need it, doesn't suit it, and will kill off any chance of new single player games.
I find MMOs pretty boring, and I would view it as another great franchise killed by greed. KoTOR, for example, didn't need to be an MMO, shouldn't have been, and the fact it exists means there's little to no chance of getting a single-player third instalment as it could pull subscribers away.

Unless they fix the endings I can't see any point in one.
Playing in a galactic dark age with none of the cultural or social foundations of the series, and no relays wouldn't be ME anyway, and anything set before 3 would just be an exercise in futility.
Fix the endings, and put it on Xbox, and I'd be up for it though.

Maybe, but the chance of Mass Effect making a successful (and fun) MMORPG are next to nothing.
There is nothing about Mass Effect, besides the fact it's a diverse universe, that would make for a decent MMORPG. It would drag down the game and kill it, but to be fair Bioware is kind of doing that already through other means.
Basically, no, I would not. This would not at all make a good MMORPG.
People need to stop assuming successful games are destined to become MMORPGs. This only worked for Warcraft III. Blizzard had a better RTS franchise, so they decided to turn Warcraft into an MMORPG with great success. 99% of games are better off left in their intended form than a half-ass MMORPG. Mass Effect is no exception.

Nope my MMO experience started and ended with wow.
for me it only gets fun if Ispend an unhealthy amount of time on it. not gonna do that again.

1. Not until the ending mess is fixed.
2. I might not. I don't like the WoW-style MMOs at all. I don't know about SWTOR: I've only seen the wife play it, but it didn't really entice me. The only MMO I've played and really liked is Dungeons & Dragons Online, and I quit playing that after several years when it was clear that their focus had moved to crafting, the “end game” and so on, instead of staying true to the D&D ethos.
Of course, given that SWTOR is already a more ‘classic MMO’ style (or is that an unfair assessment?), there's a possibility that if BioWare wanted another MMO property, it would feature different kind of gameplay so as to not directly compete with themselves (kind of like Turbine's DDO vs. LoTRO were wildly divergent in the start).

If it were to combine the sandbox aspects of Star Wars Galaxies and the innovations of Guild Wars 2 I would get it. It would have to be Free to Play though.

If the MMO was set before the ending or after an alternate ending perhaps.
I don`t particulary like MMOs..but if it used the action-cover-style combat mechanics, no tank and spank and made use of it`s sci-fi-universe (not like SWTOR, which is just WoW with laz0rs) yea..why not?
