No.

I would even go out of my way to try to stop other people from playing it if they treated their customers like Australian Customers were treated in the lead up to SW:TOR.

Also - ME3 and BF3 Multiplayer has shown me EA can't manage servers to save their life.

If they left combat as it is in me3, more rpg elements like in me1 but with more open world and actual space battles but not on rails like in swtor

I don't intend to play any future ME games as things stand, but I would've definitely considered giving an MMO a go. I don't usually play them, but I love the ME universe and the fanbase is really fun and creative with it (as observed by the Cerberus Daily News stuff) so as long as gameplay was good enough, I'd have been up for it.

I will say no. I want more ME in the future, but I am just not an MMO player. If they made it available for consoles, then I would MAYBE consider it, but still probably not.

It ultimately depends on the system, it it's the outdated buttonmashy non-action bullcrap that SWTOR is, or a lobby-based shooter, then I won't waste my breath. If it has hub worlds where one can party up for the PvE content, which better be damn good storywise, and planets devoted to PvP, not to mention proper space combat. (Like a GuildWars PvE system[you know, hubs and the actual content is loaded to specific parties, not the "persistent" world most MMOs try and pull], PlanetSide PvP scale, and FreeSpaceish space battles)[It would take esays to explain what I'd would want from a ME MMO] They have the tech to make it all possible, but I don't hold my breath that any of it will happen. In fact, I'd expect either a BattleField clone, or the WoW combat clone...

I play ME because it is SP, I never asked for MP neither I care for it. MP generally means that your character is less important in order to balance importance of the other characters. It completely destroys uniqueness. Put you time into the story, instead of trying to move the whole genre.

So no, thank you.

Amen to that

Considering TOR's success? I'd go for it. I'd ask that Bioware give the idea to Cryptic though. Do an ME MMO in the style of Star Trek Online. Cryptic works on the mechanics, Bioware does the story. Best of both worlds.

First I hate MMO I just feel like I am being ripped off but saying that if they did do an MMO and I could afford it then I'd give it a try I love mass effect that much. I still would rather have a SP me4 or something I think maybe if it was free to play like guild wars that would be better (very unlikely). also keep in mind that an MMO would by it's very nature exclude a lot of people and loyal fans.

On a final note why must all good game become wow clones it's just greed in the end.

Meh. SWTOR convinced me that MMOs can't possible be fun - if we started paying authors by the length of their books they'd contrive to include the phone book of Beijing

If it was a full sandbox set with the races and locations i love from single player definately. Would i pre order this time around before reading reviews. Definately not.

Red Dead Redemption/GTA/Mercs 2 style...HELLZ YEAH!!!
console friendly is the key!

EQ/WOW style......hand me a empty soda can so i can ****** in it and leave in your wall locker!!!
sounds like a smart idea....but you gonna get NJP'd and a page 11!

1. MMOs are generally not console friendly
2. Sandbox is more like EVE, which is a niche game to say the least.
A theme park game would not do justice to the universe of Mass Effect, but a sandbox game, no matter how well done/recived/reviewed, is still a sandbox, which means little to 0 hand holding in an incredebly complex system where EVERYTHING is controled by the players. Only sucessful examples i know of are EVE online, and pre-NGE SW: Galaxies

I think the Mass Effect universe is a much more personal experience, and while the universe has the baseline to make a convincing MMO, cannon/storyline would have to be dilluted and be offered through a lot of different sides and go the Expanded Universe type of delivery, which is something I personally dislike a lot.

Won't happen anyways, last thing EA wants is direct competition to SWTOR for a sci-fi mmo.

EA spent half a billion on SWTOR development.

No!

And that is actually independent of the question whether or not they'll fix the ending. I just can't fathom what people see in MMOs. Never will I play one.

I said a year before ME3 came out they would have multi player in it and got beat up by everyone saying no way they will add multiplayer in ME3..

Anyway, it was mentioned by game reviewers, who we already know by now mostly talk out of their butts.

Also, I have read an article by BW, which stated they wanted to do MP since ME1.

Up to today, I think it is one of the best thing that happened to ME

Seeing as how SWTOR is already dying I can't see a ME MMO succeeding.

I have no interest in MMOs. Story always takes a back seat to grinding.
