I'm not touching the Mass Effect franchise again unless I'm satisfied with whatever ending fix they come up with for ME3.

SWTOR 1-50 was great. all story driven etc i loved it i have 6 50's and level 50 legacy, cause I love stories.
Endgame it falls like a rock with virtually nothing for single players to do but space missions... and frankly I don't have time to raid 4 hours on a week night when i work 12 hour days.

This.   Raiding 4 hours on week nights reminds me of WoW.  If I wanted to grind raids... i go back to my lvl 85 pally in WoW, she is already decked with raid epic drops.   Why would I pay fees to play another game that does just about the same thing, except in different theme/skin/color?

Why do people assume that BW would clone SWTOR?

MMO can mean anything, even Guild Wars.. which is withotu fees.

Because BW sticks to formulas they know...

Also without fees? Yeah that'll be the day...

Atleast they can't screw up the ending in an MMO.

But Bioware already have a space magic MMO so why would they try and steal their own customers?

No. I didn't care for WoW mechanics when I tried WoW. And based on SWTOR, it looks like BioWare loves WoW.

Also, at this point, I don't trust BioWare. So, I'm currently disinclined to make future purchases from then anyway. Depending on how they handle the ending DLC, I'll reconsider that position.

I think it might be interesting for them to license the Mass Effect universe to an RTS developer though.

GW is without fees.. and they make the same money a regular mmo does... you do not have to put a £9 monthly, you can charge for extra character slots, ans release expansions every 4+ months as well as optional non-competitiveitems  sold for real cash  items... which I find hilarious, because people "believes" they are saving money that way, and do not realise they spend the same as a regular mmo.

Not at all. They've been kicking this idea around for the past couple years and while, before ME3 I was considering giving it the benefit of the doubt... Now, just not a chance

Wasn't saying GW is without fees. But if their company is already charging for one MMO then of course they are going to charge for a Mass Effect one.

Personally i hope that they will make new games for the mass effect universe
but not make it a mmo , in my opinion the chance of failure for a mmo is pretty high
and i think mass effect is at its best as a single player i dont think bioware is done with
mass effect ( i think they actually said this themselfs , read somewhere ) iam hoping for
a new refreshing single player game within the mass effect universe , more story's that
can be told i think.

To me the  most "logical" would be to create something different, instead of competing against themselves by using the same marketing target.

No one said EA/BW practiced smart business...

Also don't expect an MMO within the next year or so. TOR could very well be gone or near death by the time any sort of Mass Effect MMO is ready. It took them six years just to make the current one.

LOL....

after ME3? No.. how would you even do that?

It would have to be revolutionary... like EVE Online or something.

This.

It would have to be something waaaaaaay above and beyond what most MMO's are nowadays. Nobody needs another WoW clone with a ME skin.

Nah I think the MMO genre is dying. MMOs are more like a facebook game then a real game now. I quit SWTOR because they don't have any raids. 16 man raids? That's just boring.

Mass Effect MMO will be even worse. At least with SWTOR they have a good universe to put them in, Mass Effect no longer has a universe, it's dead.

I'd rather they not, especially if they kept with the whole "two factions fighting each other" that's all too common in MMOs these days. Anywho, my MMO addiction couldn't afford another one to care about, especially if it was sub-based.

One of the ending reviewers mentioned about the devs concidering making mass an MMO.

I absolutly would not be interested in an MMO around Mass Effect.

This.

MMO is pretty much dead to me, i just don't have the time and energy to put into the MMO games anymore. And paying a monthy subscription so i can play on the weekends is a waste of my money.

Other options that include Free to Play offers, usually are of inferior quality or require serious money investments past a certain point to be effective.

When i was younger and had more spare time (which is kind of ironic as i spend yesterday 2 hours on this board rather than using that scarse time to play some game), could play every day, i was more interested in MMOs. These days? I am not.

I'd be more tempted if i would be paying for 30 days of gaming instead for a month. Meaning if i could pay 30 days, and then use them on a couple weekends. Instead of paying for a month and then effectively getting to play 3-5 days, depending on my weekends. After all there are friends and family to consider, beautiful sunny days to use and all that stuff.

and this of course. TOR is just a boring, medicore, 0815 MMO if you take the StarWars out of it.

YES YES YES.  i would def play a mass effect MMO, no doubt what so ever.  only thing is though they would have to make it a huge world, an extremely high level cap, and tons of items.

WOTLK was first, allowing scrubby players kill Illidan and Arthas was really dumb decision.

And no I probably wouldn't play Mass Effect MMO, while I like the universe and all, the character that mattered to me won't be playable. Nor am I really that interested in seeing the universe completely humped into the ass by turning it into MassTanic.
