Hey there peeps, I seem to be having a problem with the VoIP in the multiplayer. It took me a while to get it set right so my microphone was detected but I managed it after a while.

However, now I detected a new problem that has been puzzling me how to fix.

In multiplayer I had two others who also had their microphones on. Let's call them player A and player B to make it easy.

I could hear player A and player B could hear player A aswell.
Player A could hear both me and player B. no problems so far.
However, Player B couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear Player B either.
In the Lobby player B's mic icon was red and in player B's Lobby mine was red.
However player A saw both our mic icons as blue.
As far as I know, all three of us are PC players, since they both had Steam according to Player A. All three of us also had head-sets, had Forced Audio on and we tried fiddling with pretty much every other option in the Sound Menu without success.

Is this simply a bug, a server problem beyond our control or is there a way to fix this ourselves?

This is a problem with the hosting system.

It's usually resolved by having the lobby-remade and/or players that can't TALK restarting their client.

I don't really know much more about it.

It seems to be a problem between us two as anyone else can hear him and me just fine. We already tried restarting the games and having someone else host the match but so far no luck. Someone suggested that it was a problem with the NAT connectivity but as far as I can tell that's mostly for the X-box and PS3 folks and we are on PC.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I've had the same problem as the OP. In one situation it appears to be due to two players behind the same router - where I can hear one person but not the other. In a different situation all four players are behind separate routers but one person I have not yet been able to communicate with.

Has anyone else found a way to resolve this? I've searched the forums and EA support to no avail.

Thanks.
