Nope. My CE is rotting next to ME2's one.

Yeah but not day one. I would've waited a couple of months or maybe just for a complete edition. One of the main reasons why I bought this on day one was because I wanted closure for the trilogy I love, then I can move on and play other games. Well...we know what happened.

Same here, I was avoiding spoilers so I would have picked it up anyway.
But-I'm still holding out some hope that the....erm....current issue (or at least the big one) is some kind of plot twist of some sort. It would just be to whack otherwise.

I would have waited for sales or until my dad/sister decided to buy it and then nab it off them.

Probably, but only after a price reduction.

Hey, remember when Shepard and the galaxy ALMOST beat the reapers?

Probably because as I said in another post. I thought the ending hubbub was probably blown out of proportion. Until I got to see the end.
Does that end justify their means? Maybe. I've also said studios' products sell on the success of their last product. I liked ME1 and 2 so I got 3. I'm not interested in 4 and have never been interested in any of the Dragon Age products. I am wary of future products but that's a default state with me anyway.

Wouldn't have bought the CE or pre-ordered. Would have waited until next year when it was super cheap on amazon...maybe...

Yes. The character interaction and overall story is more than strong enough. I felt like I had an actual crew in this game not people that statically stayed in their room as introverts. The stakes keep rising in this game and there is so much emotion involved. The gameplay is also very refined making this personally more fun to just play. 5 minutes does not justify not purchasing such a wonderful game.

I wouldn't have preordered the CE to be sure. If I'd known it would ruin the entire franchise for me, I proabably would have never played it at all.
But to be honest, I don't think anyone could have convinced me that this would happen.

Yes i would have bought it to burn it...

Nope. I would still have played it, eventually, but I wouldn't be handing over any money for a broken product. As it is I am gutted by what I paid for the N7 CE just to have one anti-climax of a play through then sit on multiplayer with a few guys in the clan.

Eventually I would, though I'd wait for some christmas sale, and most certainly not Digital Deluxe, just plain old regular.

Nope, I would have just used my Imagination instead of spending 60$..... I spent 60$ dollars to make up the ending using my imagination..... yay..... (sob)

I wish someone told me a few years back, when i bought the first game.
It's not just ME3 that is pointless because of the ending.
It's the entire trilogy that is ruined.
Two days back i tried to play ME1, but only knowing how meaningless al the missions, characters and sacrifices will be at de end changed my mind.
39 minutes but worth it.

I still love Mass Effect regardless, so yeah I would have bought it and did in a way because I didn't cancel my order when I heard about all the ending hate (it was hard to escape it).

I would have, simply because I would refuse to think it was "that bad" and probably just take a similar approach as many journalists have -- which is to assume it's just a bunch of fanboys/girls overreacting. I wouldn't have believed that Bioware could really just destroy the entire premise their story was built on. 'Tis sad.

No, but then it applies to any games I wouldn't have bought if I had known anything in them sucked really badly, not just the ending(s). I swear I bought more than 30 games since the past two or three years which I shouldn't have touched with a kilometer-long stick, but I bought them anyway, impulsive buyer... sometimes.

I'm not sure. Depending on what they end up doing to fix the ending then I may have waited to play it once I could playthrough the whole thing without having to endure the crappy ending. Because even if they fix it and have an incredible ending, I'll still always remember how terrible it was the first time through.

Absolutely. The ending sucked, but the rest of the game was truly brilliant.

Of course. I would still have wanted to see and experience the stuff leading up to the ending.
