Let me try to help you understand, speaking as a bro to bro. The pics are for fun. Take three days to think on my statement, and please don't respond out of emotion. This is absolute proof, 100% true. If you don't get it, you haven't been paying attention to the world and what concepts of humour mean.

Anyone with an IQ above 10 should understand the above statement. If people create memes, what does it mean? Think about it.

Luzarius is out of line to make comments about people, as are those who fire right back at him. We can talk about this in a civil way.

To say my piece, I like the concept of the Reapers as guardians of organic life free from the threat of synthetic war. The starchild suggests that his species had technology capable of doing more than wiping out advanced life - it could rend the fabric of the galaxy.

Reapers are synthetic/organic fusion - each one a nation of minds forming a single, vast consciousness. It is an intelligence beyond that of the Geth, beyond human understanding. The nuance here is that in "ascending" they have lost perspective on what makes life worthwhile (self determination, the possibility for peace and understanding).

Shepard can agree (by controlling or joining), or can take a stand for freedom at the cost of possibly allowing synthetics to do exactly what the catalyst is warning us about. This is the tech singularity discussed in a lot of hard sci fi.

I LIKE this part of the ending. No jokes. I think it is cool and should be kept.

What I DON'T like is:
- The relays being destroyed (why ruin the universe we love?)
- Joker turning tail with my love interest and stranding them beyond my reach
- the inconclusive "Shepard in rubble" scene.
- Basically the lack of closure

ME series is about paying attention, choosing investigate options, understanding lore, reading codex and paying attention to detail.

I have debunked this flawed image with a very simple statement.

REPEAT: Reapers only harvest advanced civilizations and leave the primitive civilizations alone.

ATTENTION: The mind of a reaper is an uploaded organic mind (if you understood legion you'd know this).

Please take the above two sentences and think on it. Don't respond to this thread out of "emotion". Take like three days to ponder what I've said with logic.

Anyone with an IQ of at least 90 should understand the above statement.   If the reapers only harvest advanced civilizations what does that mean? Think about it.

I did, yesterday or the day before. Trolling and spewing abuse and insults at people is apparently A-OK as long as you are pro-ending.

I have sadly noticed that too... It seems they do turn a blind eye to anyone who is okay with the ending. I mean he isn't the only one. there are others who attack but nothing ever happens.  Maybe I am wrong, and maybe I am not. I guess i can't blame them for being bias in favor of those who attack the disgruntled. I mean I have no doubt that the forum would be quiet if we all just disappeared, and their jobs would be easier.

But it does see like the trend around here, and it annoys me to be honest. But I have hope that I am wrong.

Sorry, no it's not. Some incredibly intelligent people simply don't do well on standardised tests, and some incredibly stupid people who can memorise all of the answers to the IQ tests can get extremely high scores.

I know one person (not myself) who got almost 210 on the IQ scale and isn't a genius, yet an IQ that high would be considered genius level.

As for studies that dispute the accuracy of the IQ test, they're available on Google Scholar if you'd like to take a look.

If you were an AI designed to prevent people from dying in car accidents, that would actually be a hugely efficient solution to the problem.

AIs mistakingly elevating subgoals over supergoals are one of the biggest fears about the things.  I find it a hugely interesting idea that the thing that has been wiping out organic civilisations for millions or billions of years is our ancestor civilisation's Singularity Police.

This is wrong, seeing as the Reapers don't just harvest, they also kill. Yeah..you see those lasers that rip cities and streets in half? The ones that blow up ships, and tear thousands of human bodies apart?

Lol that's not harvesting. So while yes, they do harvest advanced civilizations, the other goal is to wipe them out so they don't advance any further as well. So it's still genocide. So OP, your post is biased, and filled with agenda.

You've hardly debunked a thing. You are just pointing out there is more to the situation than what the joke says. And that's true. But the basic joke is still perfectly applicable.

So what you're saying is that the Starchild AI got traumatically scarred by a huge galactic war against AI and is now suffering from PTSD? Perhaps instead of listening to his nonsensical ranting, we should prescribe psychiatric care? Maybe say "well I've got a lot of things to do today, but once I've destroyed the Reapers I'll grab a chair and listen to your woes".

Also, someone made a very good comment regarding maps on the first page, which you completely ignored (seemingly a typical reaction from you when unable to come up with a good enough defence). If you have ever used a map, you're "guilty" of using a simplified version of reality, as nobody is good enough to just "know" where they are all the time. The same goes for this picture. Internet memes generally don't want to list an entire page of dialogue uniquely referencing every possible facet of the meme. It would be tedious and boring. Instead, it is simplified for both convenience and humour's sake.

Reapers actually do not have the uploaded minds of organics. The game never states this, The Catalyst simply says that the species are, "preserved" in Reaper form. You are making a baseless assumption that disagrees fundamentally with science.

Physically, everything a person is, including their mind, is summed up with a single phrase. If you educate yourself on this phrase, you will understand the difference between being turned into grey goo, and being uploaded to a machine, like project overload, or the geth Fight Squadron mission.
