Just want the drop it here, but the entire notion that organic slush pumped in a metal squid is way of preserving life is retared.

Say that to Retake with the likes of The Angry One and other members who can't make comments without them lol

so it's best to sink to their level, making you look equally bad in the process. sound logic!

I'm sure you are. Now I know why people have so many accidents driving.

The OP is much better at this troll baiting thing than you are.  You are actually kind of demeaning what they are trying to accomplish here.

Ignorance about what?

I'm not here to explain everything to you, you have parents for that.

Of course you are not here to explain it... because you can't explain it at all. I have yet to see you defend anything you say. all you do is insult, attack, and troll, but never bring anything to the table to support your arguement, or opinions. It is much easier to brush people off, insult and avoid a conflict when you lack proof, or reason to support your arguement.

So what? Do you really believe this nonsense is something an AI would do? Why? Why would they even care? Why when they consider organics vastly inferior to them? They are supposd to be cleaning the way to other species so they won't be bothered or interfered by either advanced organics or synthetics, yet they leave traces of technology to ensure they evolve in they way they want them to? Wouldn't it be easier just to rule them? If organic life is just an accident, why letting it exist? And why on ****ing earth is synthesis the natural evolution of organic life? If it's not organic then it's not natural, it just don't make any sense whatsoever, I find it to be pretty much a potpourri of the matrix and I Robot's ending, and I, Robot is a damned popcorn summer bluckbuster and yet their logic DO make sense.

Actually, you didn't address my last post which had criticisms for this thread.

So if you aren't willing to address criticisms and instead you just want to insult people, you can bugger off.

Don't feed the trolls people.

You can't "debunk" a meme. Its a joke. Its not meant to be taken seriously. The "Yo dawg" meme in particular is deliberately non-sensical. Its humour derives from its circular logic. It can't be used it to make a valid argument, and thus there is no point trying to deconstruct it. All it does is express an opinion or a concept in a manner designed to be humorous.

I would be very surprised if the OP did not understand this from the moment he started writing this post. He is just trying to wind up people by making an obvious point (i.e. that a meme does not make logical sense), and then insulting pretty much everyone on this site. There is no point reasoning with him or replying to what he says.

Just ignore him and eventually he will get bored and go away. The same goes for any other troll you ever come across on BSN.

And messy, I was concerned that my family were going to be killed by this escaped lunatic that was trolling about... So I whipped out some ME3 logic and killed them to save them from dieing, and then blended them up and poured them into my Xbox to preserve them...

Give it 50,000 years and i'll tell you if it worked. :wizard:

Unless the Star Child is a time traveling AI, his logic is just a theory.
It's never happened in the history of the Mass Effect universe, or he wouldn't be standing there lecturing us about what is going to happen if he doesn't do this.

Synthetics never destroyed all organics, or there would be no organics. It doesn't matter if his logic isn't accurately represented in a meme.

What matters is that it isn't a logic any more than if I was an ancient AI and I said that car accidents are always going to kill people until there are no people left, so I'm killing all the people with the technology to make cars to make sure people don't build cars that end up killing people. Also I left blueprints behind to make sure people know how to bild cars again in the future, and then I'll drop in once they do (I'll be driving a car by the way) to repeat the process so they don't end up killing themselves with cars.

For all you know, at some point billions of years ago, car accidents nearly wiped out all the people of the time, (we don't even get that much information to go on, though) and that's supposed to persuade you without question to do exactly as I tell you to and pick one of three options, one of which merges cars with people so that somehow cars won't kill people anymore.

This is why that meme exists. Because it's a ridiculous logic deserving of one.

The reapers want to "preserve" organic life. So why don't they harvest all the organics in one swoop and be done with it?

The ridiculousness of it comes in the fact that, the system is there to help organic life (in the long run). What OP misses is: the end goal for the Reaper system is to help organic life. Yes, there is more to it then just killing people. They harvest the most advanced civilizations. They stop civilizations from evolving any further, for they will reach the point where they develope synthetics that would take over.

BUT, OP is leaving out the fact that the Reapers do in fact kill billions. They don't just harvest people, they wipe them out. He must have missed the point where their lasers tore cities and streets in half. All the dead bodies that were torn apart daily. Outside of harvesting, those that they don't use are systematically eradicated like fleas.

So the irony in OP's rant is that, he says the joke leaves out certain information to push an agenda. And yet..he did the same thing. I also find it bizarre he's defending the Reaper logic, in that..like being harvested is some kind of treat? LMAO I would argue being harvested is just as bad as being killed, even worse. You lose your freewill. Who the heck wants to live that kind of existance?

So let's see end goal: to help organic life.
Solution: harvest and wipe out advanced organic life

Yep, the joke fits. Even if details are being left out, the core idea of the reaper system remains the same.

Exactly.  It doesn't matter WHEN they get around to doing it, the point is that they're GOING to do it eventually.    TODAY'S primitives become TOMORROW'S galactic koolaid.

No one is spared.

I am sorry, but if you call that flamebaiting.. then I really don't know what to say.

Saying don't feed the trolls ( what The angry One essentally said ) is less flamebaiting then calling a group of people stupid and then not being able to back up the claim.

This is unfair.

He is right. The reapers do have a purpose - some thought was put into the ending.

But the picture is just to convey the absurdity of the ending as a whole. Which remains flawed.
