Well, while we're 'debunking' things, if Reapers only harvest advanced civilisations then justify the harvesting of the Harvesters, which are clearly not an advanced civilisation. The Rachni might be advanced but they don't seem to use technology and would be the least likely species to create synthetics.

If synthetics killed all life in the galaxy, that is not the extinction of all biological life. New life could evolve. In other words, even if the argument is that synthetics would destroy all life whereas the Reapers only destroy sufficiently advanced life, the difference is only one of scale. I also fail to see how they're morally very different. If you're going to wipe out all sufficiently advanced life, you may as well go all the way. You'd save yourself the trouble of coming back every 50,000 years, which must get tedious after a while.

What did I say about typing out of emotion?

In ME3 if you accept the help of Rachni they aid in the construction of the crucible which proves them capable of understanding advanced technology. Listen man. It's all good. I'm not trying to be a smart ass. I'm genuinely trying to help people out here.

(I just hope the bioware moderators don't get mad at me for responding to threads so quickly. In my live stream channel I'm used to talking to 50-60 people at one time).

Can you give me a summary of your primary points from this thread?

I have a feeling if I devote the next two weeks to understanding the ted arguments they may prove that you have no idea what you're talking about and you're just posting a random link to make yourself look smarter.

If I were you. I would usually point out a few primary arguments, then simplify them so they can reach a wider audience quickly. Hence you'll be able to get your point across quicker.  Life is about getting your thoughts across quickly, surely you know this.

uhm, the Harvesters aren't being harvested, they are being used as tools, like the Geth.
The Rachni are a Spacefaring Civilization, they have used the Mass Relays, like the Geth, they seem to be outside of what the Reapers expected. Also: Can you guarantee that the Rachni would never create Synths? No? According to Starchilds twisted Logic, that's enough to justify the Harvest.

That is, at best, your speculation only. The only thing we know for sure is that the organic matter in humans is being processed into a gray slush that is then used in creating a Reaper. Nowhere does it say that a human mind is being uploaded in this process. I can agree that it's a possibility, but I'd like to see proof before I believe it as gospel.
