At work at the moment. I'll update it tonight.
Want more detailed tooltip info?

I really understand why that was not in the game from beginning (with actual values and not formula maybe, should have been easy for bioware dev).
What peoples would have said if weapons had things like that (dmg : average, crit : add little, AP : little) ?

And I've been made aware of a reduction in the Crushing Prison damage in 1.02 immediately after I uploaded this version...so I'll get around to fixing that later.

The comments in the effects_enchantment_h file were wrong in a few cases, and I think Crow Poison's tooltip itself is totally wrong. I could be wrong, but it looks like only 'Venom' (3008) type poisons cause a snare, while Deathroot or Crow (3009 or 3010) type poisons only cause a stun, although Crow has a longer duration and does more damage than deathroot. It appears as though they might have had difficulty getting Crow to generate 2 poison effects, based on the way its been coded. If a developer did make a change at the last minute, the tooltip was probably never updated to reflect that. Ah, the joys of software engineering.
One interesting thing I've noticed is that poison effects don't appear to be resistable. They do a calculation to get the resistance of the target "float fRes = GetCreatureProperty(oTarget, PROPERTY_ATTRIBUTE_DAMAGE_RESISTANCE_NATURE);", but they don't seem to do anything with it.
But, bad news for all you 'scaling freaks' out there, poisons don't scale with your level, just the quality of the poison itself.
Another weird thing of note is that Shocking Coating does 3 Electricity damage per Power (which is 1, for all the coatings), but the others only do 2 damage. Very odd, because Electricity damage also drains stamina...

Oh, does anyone have a clue what 'Radiates Cold' does?
As per the item Winter's Breath? Nothing, as far as I can tell. It just adds the "ice weapon" graphic to the staff so it looks frosty.

Much appreciated - it'd be nice if you got some Bioware Points or something for your dedication (that's a thought: a DAO Mod Award Scheme...).

Or hatched a plan to kidnap Georg and make him talk? That would work too.

Agree with this post, not to disparage Bidby's work, but Bioware really should've implemented a more elegant solution to begin with. Their localization excuses for woefully inadequte tooltips and lack of a combat log aren't going to work with SW:ToR where the community has a much more powerful vote in the form of a monthly subcription proxy.bjdbwea wrote...

But certainly the descriptions of some spells need to be changed. That's exactly why common sense would've been to let the program read (and display) all values out of its own files on the fly.
Of course. And you're welcome to try doing that yourself
Sorry if my post was misleading. I am thankful for your work and know that no one except for BioWare could implement what I suggested. What I wanted to express is that they should've done exactly that.
Thanks for your efforts though Bidby, I'll be sure to check it out next time I decide to give DA:O a spin.

What we need is a system where the forum pulls the member's name string from the corenames_en-us.tlk file on the fly.

Thanks again, Bibdy. By the by; has anyone from Bioware contacted you about rolling the finished product into an official patch?
