you people telling other people to buy the game because the "Journey" outweighs the ending are missing the point.

"You people" ignoring the journey to focus on the ending are missing the point....

its ended up at about 12, but I haven't told them not to, just that the ending is awful. I've answered a few questions about it, most have just looked it up on Youtube and then said they wouldn't buy it.

0, though they'd bought before I'd finished..I did try and convince them to die to Marauder Shields though, but they had to see the ending...and regretted.

Technically, none. One asked my opinion before I ever got to the end. I told him I was enjoying it but it wasnt his kind of game (he is very particular). The otber was planning to wait for the price to drop, and after talking with me is waiting a little longer.

I am glad this was posted in the spoilers forum, the story and campaign discussion is out of control in this thread.

Yay for people discouraging other people from buying a game and then bragging about on the official forums, totally acceptable behavior, or not.

Please lock?

Most my friends already bought it on launch day, but my ****ing has prevented one or two of them from continuing to the end.

Why isnt it acceptable to discuss being dissatisfied? Also, are you new to this forum?

I've spoken to at least 10 people at a local Gamestop, 5 of them being employees all saying they won't purchase it now because they don't want the series ruined for them and two employees at Best Buy as well. Who knows how many people those employees told.

I did not tell them to not purchase the game, I was asked how I felt about the ending and gave my honest opinon, I always recommended buying it if they wanted to but I in no way pulled back how I felt.

None. I told all my friends to buy it, it is a great game. The ending is somewhat lacking though.

Same as above, none. Despite the ending its an awesome game, and since they are doing something about it I don't see why anyone would want to stay away from it

I felt it important to post a reply here, having never posted before.

I understand that quite a few people are dissatisfied with the last few minutes of the game. I also understand that hating on the ending and criticizing Bioware has essentially turned into a meme and EVERYONE is doing it.

I'm here to say that yes, I did dislike the ending quite passionately for very many of the exact same reasons that have been brought up and elaborated in detail here and on youtube. I personally believe in the indoctrination theory and think that it would be the most epic and completely unforgettable ending ever for this type of game. I hope for it, yes.

However, I will never talk someone out of experiencing this game. Any of the games.

I've been a fan since I stood in line at midnight back in 07 @ my local gamestop, and since beginning work at one I've turned more people on to the series through recommendation than any other gaming series. I've even recommended it to "call of duty" people and had them come back for the sequels.

I'm proud to say that, atleast at my location, I was responsible for over 80 preorders on the title. Most that didn't care for the ending are still thankful for the journey, something that I think a few of you need to think about.

the best review is a persons own review imo

Duh? Did robots and animals gain the ability to write reviews?

Hey, the sky is blue. You can buy food at a grocery store. Germany is a country in Europe.

worst
case scenario if people ask me my opinions i tell them to go rent it
because i have no idea what type of gamer they are so why should i tell
them to spend or not spend 60 bucks on a game they may or may not like?

Are strangers asking for your opinion? And if they are, it's not difficult to get a feel for what kind of games they like if you ask them a few questions.

You do realize people ulitmately make their own decisions, correct? You're not that important. You think if you give an opinion and then they buy a game you're responsible?

"Please, I'm sorry I told you about this game and then you bought it! Don't hit me!

You lack testosterone.

I've tried to convince everyone that I've talked to about the game to wait until the ending DLC comes out and then buy it. I'm just as upset as the rest of you about the ending but the series as a whole is still spectacular.

geeze its like warning people about stuff is wrong now a days.

Ah the good old throw out random numbers without evidence threads.

Sorry but evidence available shows your convincing has done little to no harm. 2.4million + first week 560k second. Top of US sales charts both weeks and top European sales charts, exception being UK where came second to Fifa12 (another of EA's titles).

So did I..... they then were mad at me for making them spend 60$ for the worst ending they have ever played in a video game.....
