They look... weird. Kind of like how they look in the group discussions. Did something happen? Or are they meant to look that way?

As of yesteday, portraits are being squashed to avoid cropping. That just makes them look even sillier, though. >.>

They are made the same size as Dragon Age character profile pictures, I guess...

Ugh. There was nothing wrong with them the way they were. A lot of stuff on the site works better than it did when I first joined but changing something that doesn't need it is just unnecessary. They looked better before and I hope they change it back.

I can't even picture what it used to look like now, but both the one next to the 'quick reply' box and the profile one in the top-left of the page are fine, although there's a gap around the edges that I don't think was there before...

The container was always the same size. The only difference is that now the container shows the whole portrait, which is not square. It was better when it zoomed in but retained the aspect ratio.

Just for reference, I have since changed mine to the other one. For some reason there are actually two of these in there. This one seems to have its proportions correct in that one next to posts. The Dragon Age ones seem to have doubled up as well. Most haven't though, and the change really does make them look weird.
