As per Rosery's request, here is the new video of us doing fine in a gold game until at wave 7 we lost a person. In galaxy saving fashion we proceed to three man waves 7-end with an epic conclusion!

And since EMS was very low, Shepard's love was killed by Harbinger, and the level of devastation on Earth was quite terrible, there weren't many survivors..

I wanted to get this finished in time, as a present to Shep, but I failed. 

So here's my work in progress, so that I at least got something up in time (assuming Shep is on US time)...

I am sure by now many of you have seen the news, Bioware is trying to spin our outrage into something good, something that we were crying about how great the game was. Now I am very much someone who does not mind waiting but here? I think I have finally had enough my friends, it is time to cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. EA seems to be clamoring for us to explode and I am at the point where I say, we might have to explode.

Reading into it, yes it seems like a direct nose-thumbing, basically saying "nyah nyah, we made a ton of cash so you don't matter - bring on the casual gamers, time to churn out pap!" (I may be reading a bit TOO much into it there hehe:bandit:). 

Best way to combat that is with the truth and by citing resources backing up our argument.
This whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm still rooting for BW to do the right thing, but PR like this 
makes me sick. I've noticed in some other threads people advocating withholding business from BW. Doing so here on their own forum is frankly, ridiculously bad form, so I'll say they'll still have me as a customer if I'm satisfied with their summer offering and leave it at that, because I'm optimistic that way. Let EA do what they want, it's the people at BW I care about.  

In other news, what's the news with the contest do we have our category winners?

Someone in one of the articles mentioned that throughout this whole mess, you never hear from anyone but the spokesthingies. Never from anyone else. Which you might get if they felt like defending their product.

I continually find it hard that a whole room full of people who came up with the Tuchanka or Rannoch sequences could look at the endgame and call that a win. I think they were pushed by EA to slap something onto the end and throw it out the door before it was ready. The last fifteen minutes are as bad as the Smart/Take 2 Games release of Battlecruiser 3000AD, where the reviewer at the time stated the DOS/4GW error screen should have been printed on the back side of the box as a feature!

It's sad that this happened. I would like to have seen what the original ending would have been, before some nebbish in a suit ordered a half-baked ending slapped onto a stellar game and rushed out the door.

I just don't have the energy anymore to be raging about EA **** like this.

I'll wait for the DLC and if it doesn't cut it, I'll try to fight one more time. If that fails I'll walk away from BW and hold my head up high.

Lol! Thanks for understanding, but it's probably not as bad as it sounds.
I'll definitely continue to hold the line, I just don't have the energy to waste on getting angry anymore.

Like you, I've my own share of stuff to manage in my life and I can't get so worked up about this all the time.
I'll be here, I'll continue to post and hold the line, but I'll conserve my energy until the DLC arrives.

Have you people heard the news about Witcher 2? They are publishing an extented edition for its conversion for the X-Box, with tons of new content, two whole big quests (which suppossedly are 4 hours gameplay in themselves), new weapins adn armour for each of the three acts in the game...
they pretty much adressed and changed everything the fans mentioned that wasn't so great about the gamein the first place and greatly extended the end with new sequences and a more detailed look into how your decisions changed the world.
All of this without any campaigns,without any fan outrage and if you already have the game you get all of it for free to download. 10 gigs of stuff, story and improved gameplay.

The lead designer said. The people who buy our games, are our fans and supporters, we don't want to rip them off, because they already oaid for the game. The fans provided valuable criticism, we used it for the X-box version and we are not going to cheat the people who were alreadsy supproting us buy demanding money for the extra content.

That is what Bioware should do, that is what EA, what Capcom and Square Enix should do. All those companies who are just looking for ways to exploit us gamers.

I won't say how I played witcher 2 until now, but the first thing I did after I read all that stuff about the new edition was to order the game, because those guys deserve to get my money.

I'm playing through the W2 EE edition right now. I have it on PC.

Plus, they gave obama a copy of the witcher 2 when in came out and he visited poland. That game is a symbol of polish pride!

so, you're polish? I didn't like Witcher one that much, especially the childish sex cards put me off and I really disliked the way both Triss and the other LI (Shanni?) presented themselves at times, but I really dig 2.
My game arrived this morning and I've been downloading the patch for hours now?
Stupid connection getting lost twice (I'm trying one more time,  but I'm doing it manually as well as with the patch updater to be sure to finally get it.).
