But on Aver88 point one of the biggest lures of the franchise was the romance's (bioware even said this in an interview at one point). So i think it is possible there is more romance scenes etc but I will be surprised

For me it maybe wasn't exactly lure but I enjoyed it indeed. Especially in ME2. There was a lot of different personalities etc. But in ME3 there was only big disappointment for fans of LI from ME3 because they didn't have enough budget for all LIs (it was said by one writer in Samara's topic).

Actually, because of situation in ME3, romances in ME aren't lure for me anymore. It's something opposite for me now and that's why I'm against spending even more resources on it in future games.

I bought ME1 on a $10 steam sale ages ago. I didn't even know about the romances until I got locked into one with Kaidan. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and think the romances were an excellent touch. How can you fight if you don't have anything to fight for?

Me2 was epic in my opinion. Was I hurt after Horizon? Hell yeah. Luckily I had Thane there for me. I think his romance was one of the best.

Then comes ME3. ME2 romances, if you're not Garrus or Tali? Nah, don't think so bro. I'm glad the orginal ME1 squad got their romances, but what about the rest of us? Most characters even had choice in their scripting and a little *tiny* bit of romance. Some of us didn't even get that much. Just a generic scene with little difference between a friend and romanced Shep.

So yes! A substantial amount of impact would be nice.

If your LI was Tali, it appears that all squaddies have some sort of mention to it on the dreadnought, but yeah, i agree. Maybe if you didn't remain loyal to your ME1 LI there should be a slanging match should the two ever meet...

poor shep stuck in the middle :(

Well Ash brings up Tali in the hospital and is ok with it because she is like a sister.  They do get catty on the dreadnaught too.

Any one will agree with a DLC to improve the romances of ME2?

If so, we could propose it on a post and see what happens.

I know, why shall we pay for this?...and it will be true, but its the end of the trilogy.

For example, a campaign DLC where you help Miranda from the beginning, full DLCs will be welcome, not just a DLC that add some conversation or videos, which in that case should be free.

Sure, why not? I'm not sure if I would buy a ME2!LI DLC since I don't have Shep with an active ME2!LI. However, if that bundle comes with improved friendship arcs, I'll buy it.

I also will buy this one if the VS romance gets a major upgrade too.

In general, I'd like to see a romance DLC touching ALL romances.

Yes fix the existing characters first please!
Thane--life extension (lung transplant) or cure
Jacob--Bring him back 'round to Shepard...and not a pregnant girlfriend please lol
Tali--Fix her face. Because seriously, cop out?

I don't remember enough about Jack or Miranda but from what I've read, they're pretty lacking too.

I like the way the romances are done.  The scenes are really good, both the gay and straight ones.  But I think there should be a little more of an impact in how your love interest interacts with you.  Like on missions or just walking around the ship between missions.  There should be alternate dialogue thats unique to your love interest to give them some more depth.  Or even how other team members may comment on it.  Right now the only other team member that seems to mention your love interest at all is Javik towards the end.  its not game breaking or anything I just think it would add a little more richness to the game.

I so agree with this.

^ that's what RP is for, Demon *g*

Okay, have the example:

Neutral!Ash: Commander? I saw what happened on Thessia. It's hard to believe all major worlds are under siege now. If we can't unite the fleets faster, there won't be anything left to save.

Friendly!Ash: Hey Shepard. I saw what happened on Thessia. Did you talk to Liara already? She must be devastated - if she feels the same I felt when watching Earth burn, she needs some comfort. Hope you can talk to her. And how are you doing? I'll be here, if you need to talk.

Romanced!Ash: Skipper ... I can't believe what happened down there. Thessia - burning. Like Earth. I wonder how you can take it - or can't you? Don't need to answer that. Just ... let me now if you need to talk, hmm? And talk to Liara, Skipper. She needs a friend now.

THAT's how it should have been done. For ANY character.
(Or kinda similar).

Yes something along these line's and maybe take a note of how they handled charecter interactions in Dragon age origins. They seemed to really nail them in that.

I'll third it. Well done.

I'm a sucker for DLC's. I know I'd buy it so I won't even try to front.

If you look closely at the Tali face you can see they did a few subtle manipulations beyond just a simple photoshop job.  It's hard to see and someone had to point it out to me.  Look around her eyes and nose and you will see it.
