And since I didn't receive the reward for the last operation I am guessing I wouldn't now ether.

The thing about promoting is that it is relatively easy to level up fast. I mean, even if you go bronze, you can hit level 12 within 2 or maybe 3 matches again with ease. Yes, the last couple of levels take some time if you are hitting just bronze, but for someone who plays enough to have several level 20's already, it's pretty easy to level back up.
I play about 3 matches on Bronze, then cruise through Silvers the rest of the way. This way you can hit level 20 in under 10 matches easily. I've been spending a couple hours a day just goofing off and I've got 3 level 20's and another one at level 17, and the other two I have are around 10 because I don't care for them much. Going to promote everything I can tomorrow.

I was trying to avoid promotion because of the SP impact (N7 level 120), but I may promote two characters as long as there are N7 weapons (hope I have better luck this time, got N7 Hurricane after Goliath...).

Who would actually guage someone with their rankings anyways. It means very little in terms of skill. FFS you could be a 86 colonel in BF3 and I would still wipe the floor against you. I've played with N7's with 3xx and I usually have a 20k lead to them in silver and more in gold. Hell some times they try and kick me because I have a 8x rating but I'm ALWAYS the one that ends up rezing them or being the tanky DPS.Robotech_Master wrote...
Here's something that concerns me a little:
"During Operation RAPTOR, all promotions will result in an increased N7 rating."
Up to this point, the N7 rating has strictly corresponded with the number of levels someone has played in the game. If they start handing out extra levels for people promoting, it's going to be that much less useful to judge player experience based on that number. (Though to be fair, given how character cards hand out extra experience, there's nothing to say that any given player has actually played all those levels now as it is.)
tl;dr Raitings mean ****.

First one was not for PS3 that was ok, second one was decent, this one is horrible. Why would I want to Promote? To get some random pack and buff some meaningless number. The whole promote system is a joke and needs to be changed.
They're actually doing something about it now, they're giving you N7 Weapons if you promote. Totally worth it.

Just saw this on Twitter, nice. More free N7 Weapons/an upgrade.@macdotnub Wrote...
@TullyAckland Hi, any idea if the Operation Raptor Commendation Pack contains an N7 Weapon like last time? BSN post does not say, Thanks!
@TullyAckland Wrote...
@macdotnub it does indeed! I'll update the post to confirm to everyone :-)
Here's hoping for something I'll use this time round.

Also, unfortunately for the PS3 folks:

Unfortunate news has come in: Due to restrictions on PS3 we are unable to offer Operation Raptor this weekend to those players.

Would you not be complaining if you could not do these events?Would be different if 360/pc users were left out of events.
No, I wouldn't be, just like I didn't complain about PS3 getting Back to Karkand for BF3 a week earlier than the rest. Like I said, these events are a very slight bonus at best in terms of rewards, and not the reason I play the game. Besides, for example the Goliath rewards were completely wasted on me, I have zero need for the N7 Crusader. The "best" event so far was Fortress, since it made leveling a bit faster, and even PS3 got that one.
So again... blown entirely out of proportion.

Mr. Priestly, dear BioWare... just a suggestion - feel free to ignore it if you don't care about your "community". Maybe it would be a good idea to focus on fixing multiplayer bugs for now, instead of doing these grind focused community challenges. I am not saying that it is a bad thing that you are doing them. It is great that you are trying to keep ME3 multiplayer fresh and entertaining but for **** sake, get your priorities straight. There are countless threads all over the forums with hundreds or even thousands of posts in which your customers who payed real money lost all their MP unlockables. For example, I am still waiting for you to restore my gear... Won't bother to play MP and I am about to miss 3rd community challenge. 3 weeks passed and still no response from you? Are you kidding me? It is just insulting that you are well aware of the situation and don't give us ANY UPDATE AT ALL. DAMN IT, write something in the appropiate thread (or make a new one, whatever) and tell us what is going on! -,-
Sorry for writing this here but I am just beyond frustrated and my patience is running out. If this won't get fixed this week, I am done with ME3 and BioWare games in general. Never seen such a poor customer support/relations in my life.
To all of the people, like this one, that would prefer that BioWare "concentrate" on fixing bugs:
As much as I understand your frustration, and as much as I would want certain problems with Multiplayer being fixed, you should be aware that, contrary to public opinion, BioWare does not constitute of three people that can only work on one thing at a time.
I believe there are at least four. Hundred. Well, there's a lot, and as in any game development company, there are dedicated teams that have different tasks and priorities.
The people that do these wonderful and very welcome weekends, are in no possible way the same people responsible for solving Multiplayer or Gameplay Issues/Bugs. The weekends, I actually believe, could be done by a single person, since it is just compiling data, evaluate it and then putting the rewards into the respective pipeline, but that is beside the point.
I understand your frustration, but you need to understand that these weekends have in no way whatsoever any influence on the time or implementation of Bug Fixes or Gameplay Tweaks. It's the wrong tree to bark at. The weekends are P.R. events to engage the community to play the game, enhance the experience and give rewards for participating. If anything, the increased amount of Gameplay Information gathered due to the increased number of players during these weekends might ultimately help in finding and fixing bugs.
I do say "bugS", but I know that many are just interested in how or when they'll get their stuff back, or when they'll be compensated for the money they spent on getting it. I do not know. I'm sorry, but I don't. And neither do the people that do the weekends. Because they don't work on that.

Join the war against the Reapers online between 5PM PST Friday, March 30th to 5AM PST Monday, April 2nd and promote at least 2 characters to your single player campaign.
What does single player campaign has to do with promotions? I know about war assets, but is there anything else? I haven't even considered playing single player yet.
Basicly, do i just have to promote my mp characters, or there is something more to be done?
