I'm pretty sure it's like the other operation and we don't get multiple packs.

Two questions for the devs or anyone who may know:

1. Do characters who are already lv 20 before the event count for the event if you promote them? Or do you have to level someone to 20 DURING the event?

2. If you meet the requirement to promote 2 characters, will you get any sort of message indicating that you successfully completed the goal?

2. then you get a pack, and another pack if everybody managed to get a total of 150,000 promotion. The second one will be given only after the duration of the event though (Monday 5PM PST)

Beyond the war assets the singleplayer has nothing else to do with the promotions.

However if you haven't touched singleplayer yet at all, the "promote" button might not be available to you yet in multiplayer. If that's the case it means you need to go and at least make a start on a singleplayer game so that you get offered the option to promote characters.

PS: also don't forget that the event only starts at 5pm PACIFIC US time, if you're in a different timezone it may start earlier or later for you.

Since a lot of people seem to have had problems as a result of misjudging the start time of the previous events I would recommend holding off on promoting your characters until you actually get the Operation Raptor mission briefing screen ingame - if you haven't gotten that yet (even after exiting and reentering multiplayer) the event probably hasn't started yet.

Don't get me wrong, MP is fun and all but are you saying that you bought this game just to play the MP part? LOL

I enjoyed fisrt two games very much and i will definitely play this one too. But, i like to wait for few patches and fixes before i start a game. I waited 2 years for a game, so i will manage another month without it.
Also, i just hate the first day DLC. I would like to play with all the content, but i am not ready to pay that dlc. I may even wait for some discount before i buy it. I am against piracy, but i am also against high prices of greedy companies.

I mean though, after you succeed in promoting two characters, are you going to get a "congratulations" message or something, or are you just going to randomly find a pack available after the event?  I ask because I did the first event (completed a Reaper silver match) and I didn't get a message, but it didn't give me the pack either. I had to contact EA to get them to fix it for me.

There was no confirmation last time, so i don't think you will see it now. If you have done it, you will get the pack. if they didn't fix the issues we had last time, you will probably have to contact support to get your pack.

There is 1h difference in PDT and PST so it may be confusing, but it is arround 1am 31.03. It is best to wait for 32nd (i just had to ) and then do it.

Hey guys I'm a bit confused about the event, what means "promote at least 2 characters to your single player campaign". Whats that with single player, I don't really get it...

Edit: Well I should have read the posts before... So its just the normal promote button in the mp...

We should get info that the event has started and It should start in 12-13 hours. It will be arround midnight in your place. Wait 24 hours from now and you can promote your characters.
Reward system is probably the same as last time, which means we will get our packs after the event on tuesday 5pm pst and there will be no confirmation that we did the task.


Most people didn't get their reward as they should have. The solution was to contact support and ask them to add you the pack manualy. Packs are valid for one week so there is still chance that you can get your commendation pack from the last event.

As i said several times before, Yes i do really think so due to lazy development or incompetent developers.

You do realise that at Bioware is the only developer claiming to state not being able to get those type of stats , other developers have been getting those stats without any problems, look at Uncharted 2 +3 by Naughtydog, Badcompany, BF3 by DICE, COD by Infinity Ward & Tryarch.

If you actually look at the "My Games" section on this site, you will see that stats are already being tracked, this is also the case for PS3 users.
All you are basing your statement on is a comment from Bioware without any background information on the actual issue or the response from Sony to this. If this was provided Bioware would allow it's PS3 user base to help in their "fight" against Sony. So why haven't they? Because they don't have a leg to stand on other then not being able to code a multiplayer for PS3 but more than capable in deceiving consumers into buying their faulty product for the same price if not more then a fully functional copy.

Well, I'm sure they would've just said no at the start if there wasn't at least a chance we'd be able to participate. So I hope that indicates progress with whatever problem Sony and BioWare are having. I'm trying to be patient about this, but I worry that by the time they get this thing ironed out there aren't going to be anymore events left.

Oh, well. Back to my own private event: trying to unlock a Krogan Soldier. C'mon already, Spectre Packs. <_<
