The rewards for Operation: Goliath were released the Tuesday after the event ended. I imagine it will be the same this time. And the post says that they'll be released next week, too.

Is there an XP bonus going on as well? 2 bronze runs were enough to take me from level 1 to 12. Seem to remember it being harder then that.

Since operation goliath caused so much trouble: is there any way to see, if the promotion was actually registered?
Before I promote all 6 characters, I'd rather try out 2, and see if it worked.

I think he doesn't mean download literally. You receive the commendation pack from the store. Its probably N7 weaponry again.

Commendation supposedly awarded upon completion. I promoted twice and I didn't get anything upon completion. Might wanna clear that up...

I wish there was some tangible benefit to promotion. I mean N7 ranking really doesn't mean much, gives no benefit and promotion doesn't give you anything outside of single player (and if you note my signature, single player is not high on my list right now). I wish you could unlock armor pieces like in Halo: Reach. Even if it's something cosmetic it would be a nice touch and help differentiate your character. Right now it's just a cheap power reset.

Can't wait to get my nigh useless N7 weapon and my recruit pack though. Pardon my cynicism. I'll still promote, but I won't enjoy it.

Well I just got the Operation Raptor screen on MP. This makes me concerned that the 3 characters I promoted earlier today did not count towards this. Any info on that?

I'm sorry to say it's more than likely they didn't count towards it. I would not ever try to complete goals before you see the Operation (whatever the name may happen to be) screen, because only after you've seen that can you be sure the promotion started in your area.

nope, you only get one pack even if you promote 4232432 characters

So i promoted my adept and went from level 1 to 7 in a silver match. The next game i play after that, I don't have any of the skills i just leveled, and after I finish the second game, I rank from level 1 to 8 again. Anyone else have their levels disappear after promoting?
