Operation Raptor SUCCESS!

1/ Please please please get PS3 users on-board for this weekend. Many of us put in extra time last weekend to level up our characters (and have delayed promoting them) with a view to participating in Operation: Raptor. It would be much appreciated if you could advise us of your progress in making this happen.
2/ Do we earn a Commendation Pack for every 2 characters we promote. and if so is there a cap on the maximum number of packs we can earn? There should be some incentive to get people to promote more than just 2 classes, besides the whole 'help your community out' thing. Personally it seems reasonable to set the cap to 3, so that we can promote every class once. I understand many people were dejected with the contents of their Commendation Packs last time, but with 3 times the odds of getting something decent I'm guessing there would be far fewer complaints...if people are prepared to sacrifice ALL of their current levels.
Anyway, thanks for the continued weekend events, I just hope PS3 users will be included as they were last weekend.

"During Operation RAPTOR, all promotions will result in an increased N7 rating."
Up to this point, the N7 rating has strictly corresponded with the number of levels someone has played in the game. If they start handing out extra levels for people promoting, it's going to be that much less useful to judge player experience based on that number. (Though to be fair, given how character cards hand out extra experience, there's nothing to say that any given player has actually played all those levels now as it is.)

This isn't new. You get 10 extra in N7 rating if you promote.

Mr. Priestly, dear BioWare... just a suggestion - feel free to ignore it if you don't care about your "community". Maybe it would be a good idea to focus on fixing multiplayer bugs for now, instead of doing these grind focused community challenges. I am not saying that it is a bad thing that you are doing them. It is great that you are trying to keep ME3 multiplayer fresh and entertaining but for **** sake, get your priorities straight. There are countless threads all over the forums with hundreds or even thousands of posts in which your customers who payed real money lost all their MP unlockables. For example, I am still waiting for you to restore my gear... Won't bother to play MP and I am about to miss 3rd community challenge. 3 weeks passed and still no response from you? Are you kidding me? It is just insulting that you are well aware of the situation and don't give us ANY UPDATE AT ALL. DAMN IT, write something in the appropiate thread (or make a new one, whatever) and tell us what is going on! -,-
Sorry for writing this here but I am just beyond frustrated and my patience is running out. If this won't get fixed this week, I am done with ME3 and BioWare games in general. Never seen such a poor customer support/relations in my life.
Kinda hard to boycott something if you're the only one actually doing it.

If I promote six chars does that give me 3 commendation packs? or just 1 like in operation:goliath?
The way it is worded: "Join the war against the Reapers online between 5PM PST Friday, March 30th to 5AM PST Monday, April 2st and promote at least 2 characters to your single player campaign." (stressing on the important part) it is pretty clear that you will get only one pack.
The only benefit you will get from promoting all 6 classes is more N7 rating.

Good. I have all 6 classes at lv20 and collected 630k of creds. Now, when this started, I can promote all 6 classes and start buying spectre packs. All those golden and silver character cards that were useless before can give up to 100000 exp. So, with some luck, I will be able to make 10+ promotions within few hours.
Yup, thats what I have been doing, I hate wasted exp.

ANOTHER event that I can't participate in because I play on PS3. If you guys are having issues with Sony, then how about doing an event that would allow all systems to be a participant. You guys did it last weekend with the exp bonus. I am seriously starting to get upset that I can't be a part of these even though I bought the game. And don't give me the it's Sony's fault bs, don't create events knowing that part of your customer base can't be apart of, Do something they can all do!
So they shouldn't have events that give out individual rewards?

Anyone ever wonder if some sony reps who play the game look at these forums and see posts like this, then think, "lol dodged a bullet of angry fans there haha sucks to be bioware."
I know I'd be pretty happy if the fans directed their anger at the messengers and not the assailants.

If it hurts a part of the community then no they probably shouldn't. However there is hope we will be in this event. Don't give up just yet!

I don't quite understand your logic. Don't exclude part of your playerbase from events. If you can't involve all of them, do something else or you will have unhappy customers plain and simple. I payed 70$ for the game as well. Why can't you see that?

What about victory pack? Can we have 1 ultra-rare item in it? (I got inc. ammo II from the last one alongside with character card for already maxed class, that was really funny). Or, maybe 1 victory pack for every 150000 characters we will promote?

Seriously, I get that it sucks for you guys on PS3 and I would totally be for you getting the same rewards that we do even though we are doing all the work, but I wouldn't want to miss out on great rewards because Sony can't get their act together.
I'm big enough to share the rewards for free with the PS3 player base, I would hope PS3 players are not so petty that they would wish us to have dimished rewards because they aren't getting to participate.
I'm all for getting it to work on the PS3, but maybe you should be taking your pitchforks and torches over to sony and not Bioware?

First one was not for PS3 that was ok, second one was decent, this one is horrible. Why would I want to Promote? To get some random pack and buff some meaningless number. The whole promote system is a joke and needs to be changed.
Only a fools that presume the promote system is there to benefit players in multiplayer, rather than the original concept, of an alternate way of building single player military strength, agree with you.
No changes should ever be made, so you Call of Doody kids that want your "prestige" bonuses, can cry and cry, then go back to trolling your other games.

The trouble here is that no-one is actually admitting liability. Many people have voiced their grievances at Sony over this, only to be told that they (Sony) have nothing to do with the problem. Some people have reported Sony's reps even saying they were not even aware of these events or what BioWare was trying to achieve. This then fuelled the conspiracy fire, so that every time this sort of thing pops up you get the same old "EA/BioWare sold the MP exclusives etc to Microsoft and BioWare can't give PS3 anything for x months".
If BioWare were just a bit more forthcoming with the pertinent information - WHAT is the issue, WHO should we contact to facilitate resolution / voice our concerns, WHEN is it likely to change - it would be easier for everyone. But their caged responses (if they give responses at all) don't exactly inspire confidence...
