A counter of how many chars had been promoted so far for the event would have been nice, i guess.
An image showing the end of a certain event would be nice as well - including a message when we're going to get the packs.
Hope we had 150k promotions. I did 3 of 'em.
Best of luck, personally I think you probably made the limit, but if you didn't, well ...
I had five classes ready to promote, but PS3 wasn't included in the event, so I decided to take the weekend off.
Went hiking with the family. We had a good time, and it was nice not to be sitting in front of a screen for a while (especially since the weather has gotten nice lately).
Already talking about getting together with family next weekend.
Dear BioWare, my wife thanks you for giving her back our weekends, by not including the PS3 in these events.
(sorry we can't contribute to the cause though, but hey, you probably won't even notice we're not there)

Operation RAPTOR SUCCESS!
From: Admiral Steven Hackett, Citadel Allied Command
Re: Operation RAPTOR
Confidentiality classification: XA-PRIME
Distribution: N7 Forces Only
Soldiers of the Milky Way,
I am pleased at the number of promotions achieved during Operation RAPTOR. The influx of veterans and leaders is already proving invaluable in our fight against the Reapers.
While our comrades spread across the galaxy to carry on the fight, you must reconstitute your forces and bring new fighters to the fore. The N7 cadre has never been an easy calling, but your guts and determination have made you the most feared fighting force the Alliance has ever known. Prepare yourself; there will be more challenges in our future. Good fortune favors the prepared mind… and arsenal.
--Admiral Hackett
Congratulations on another successful N7 Operation!
We had a record number of soldiers promoted last weekend: over 350,000, shattering our previous community goal of 150,000.
Victory Packs and Commendation Packs will arrive no later than Wednesday April, 4th. Make sure to redeem them and begin training your new recruits. Operation Beachhead is scheduled to deploy next weekend, April 6th- 8th and will require expert trained soldiers to complete. Stay tuned for more information on Operation Beachhead later this week.

I wish it was my internet, Im on about 750kb/s, I did just get into a game but lost my connection on wave 3 with no lag at all. Ps3 players complain that they cant take part in weekend operations but Id much rather be able to play the game reliably and give up my weekends.
Still I have to admit, online gameplay is awesome when it does get round to working.

Can you clarify on the "will arrive no later than Wednesday"? Does that mean they're currently being handed out and they'll all be out on Wednesday, or nobody gets them until Wednesday?
They listed the exact time that the packs will become available in the original post - namely at 5pm PST on tuesday. The reason he said "no later than wednesday" is because in the more easterly situated timezones 5pm PST translates to the morning or afternoon of the wednesday after. In the UK for example it's 1am on wednesday that the packs will become available.
So the point he was making is that everyone who earned a pack should have it by wednesday (and if not, then you're likely bugged and you need to contact customer service), but they won't actually start handing these packs out til tuesday at 5pm (or later depending on your timezone).
That is the way it worked during the first Operation weekend at least..

That announcement had better be that a massive patch/bug-fix is rolling out and will address several of the long standing and most egregious errors in MP currently. If it's just DLC for money it won't be big and won't be worth anyones time at PAX. Fix the game, then we can talk about stuff "for money".
Also Beachhead is the term used for pushing into and enemy line and making a "relatively" save zone to bring in more troops for a large assult.... I hope it doesn't invovled completeing a mission on Gold, what with a no better then a 1% success rate community wide.

Thanks. I'm aware that's how it worked last time, I didn't realize it's following the same schedule. Must have missed the part where it said 5 pm pst on Tuesday.
