2 commendation packs
2 victory packs
1bf3 pack
1 facebook event pack
And a special ps3 pack to make up for not giving us these events!
Like couldn't they simply give us ps3 owners 10% extra credits for the weekend? Even 2.5% or the 25% xp again? Anything?

Only a fools that presume the promote system is there to benefit players in multiplayer, rather than the original concept, of an alternate way of building single player military strength, agree with you.
This is a bit ambigious. I do understand that the multiplayer promotion system is ment for the singleplayer and I'm sure it's doing a fine job at it. Personally I completed the entire singleplayer without touching the multiplayer. It wasn't until after I tossed myself unto the multiplayer wave. Here's the thing though, after actually having finished the SP game, I found out that ME3 was the first ME game of the trilogy that I actually didn't want to play the SP over again. So promoting really does nothing for me.
Here's another thing- the multiplayer has a vastly larger longlivity then the SP, ergo at some point SP will be dead and you will be only playing MP, thereby begs the question, why would you promote? Some more incentive to promote would not hurt at all tbh.
Also calling people of a different opion for "fools" due to their generic opinion is a bit offensive and you should try to be more mindful. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but everyone is also entitled to some courtesy.

No changes should ever be made, so you Call of Doody kids that want your "prestige" bonuses, can cry and cry, then go back to trolling your other games.
Again, somewhat offensive. Be careful with these, if a vast amount of people jump away from the MP the MP servers will be shut down all the sooner

I would disagree on this.
To this date people still play ME2 or even ME1. I doubt that the multiplayer part of ME3 will be that popular in a couple of years, most people will have moved on to another online game.

The trouble here is that no-one is actually admitting liability. Many people have voiced their grievances at Sony over this, only to be told that they (Sony) have nothing to do with the problem. Some people have reported Sony's reps even saying they were not even aware of these events or what BioWare was trying to achieve. This then fuelled the conspiracy fire, so that every time this sort of thing pops up you get the same old "EA/BioWare sold the MP exclusives etc to Microsoft and BioWare can't give PS3 anything for x months".
If BioWare were just a bit more forthcoming with the pertinent information - WHAT is the issue, WHO should we contact to facilitate resolution / voice our concerns, WHEN is it likely to change - it would be easier for everyone. But their caged responses (if they give responses at all) don't exactly inspire confidence...
Oooh, I see. I didn't think about that, but to be honest I'm not one to believe in conspiracy theories either. I'm betting that there are just a few clueless people over at Sony that aren't aware of what's going on while the big boys are trying to get things sorted out.

Sooo, that means X-box 360 players should get 1 bf3 pack, 1 facebook event pack (since I didn't participate in it, I naturally assume I would get compensated) and a special x-box 360 event because of <insert fallible reason here>?
TBH, if I get those things for my x-box, I don't mind you PS3 people getting your stuff at all. Now, if you cut the 1 b3 pack, 1 facebook event pack and special PS3 pack, I don't mind you guys getting 2 commendation packs and 2 victory packs for free (I don't mind sharing bro, we are in this fight together after all).
That said, lets not forget that they might get it to work.

Thanks for that PS3 support with last weekend's 25% bonus XP... although the entire point of it was to prepare for THIS weekend... which we cannot par-take in... thanks... enjoy your cupcakes.
Again, they might get it to work. I'm on the x-box 360, but I do hope they get it to work on the PS3. I have always disliked the seperation between PS3 players and x-box 360 players. We are all gamers after all, no matter the platform we fight on.<3

You are indeed entitled to disagree with me and you might by alrights be correct in your assumption. However, there is a very large number of players that are dissatisfied with the SP of ME3, me included, that even though I played ME1 and ME2 SP from start to end more than 6 times each, I would not suffer playing through the SP of ME3 again. It's my belief that people won't be clinging to the ME3 SP for long, but then again, I have been wrong in the past (once or twice in my life :innocent:).

Utterly needless comment, even though I am not on the PS3 (I'm on the 360) I can still support my brothers and sisters on the other platforms.

Indeed, this is what its about. Fighting the good fight together. I truelly do hope that Sony and Bioware solve this so you people who play on PS3's can join the war.

I don't quite understand your logic. Don't exclude part of your playerbase from events. If you can't involve all of them, do something else or you will have unhappy customers plain and simple. I payed 70$ for the game as well. Why can't you see that?
Seriously, I get that it sucks for you guys on PS3 and I would totally be for you getting the same rewards that we do even though we are doing all the work, but I wouldn't want to miss out on great rewards because Sony can't get their act together.
I'm big enough to share the rewards for free with the PS3 player base, I would hope PS3 players are not so petty that they would wish us to have dimished rewards because they aren't getting to participate.
I'm all for getting it to work on the PS3, but maybe you should be taking your pitchforks and torches over to sony and not Bioware?
I don't want anyone to have diminished rewards, but you're telling me that between all of the incredible developers at Bioware they can't come up with an idea that involves all systems and doesn't exclude anyone??
Not too mention that I bought BF3 day one and was promised something from that I never recieved either. But thats something entirely different.

I`m getting into mp now, and I`d like to join it. I probably won`t manage to promote 2 characthers though, but I`m lvl 13 with a human soldier now.

Too bad it doesn't stack if you promote more than 2 characters. I've got a bad feeling that if N7 weapons are in the victory pack, I'm going to get the SMG =_=
Has this been confirmed? I'm convinced this is the case, but I was just curious

Mr. Priestly, dear BioWare... just a suggestion - feel free to ignore it if you don't care about your "community". Maybe it would be a good idea to focus on fixing multiplayer bugs for now, instead of doing these grind focused community challenges. I am not saying that it is a bad thing that you are doing them. It is great that you are trying to keep ME3 multiplayer fresh and entertaining but for **** sake, get your priorities straight. There are countless threads all over the forums with hundreds or even thousands of posts in which your customers who payed real money lost all their MP unlockables. For example, I am still waiting for you to restore my gear... Won't bother to play MP and I am about to miss 3rd community challenge. 3 weeks passed and still no response from you? Are you kidding me? It is just insulting that you are well aware of the situation and don't give us ANY UPDATE AT ALL. DAMN IT, write something in the appropiate thread (or make a new one, whatever) and tell us what is going on! -,-
Sorry for writing this here but I am just beyond frustrated and my patience is running out. If this won't get fixed this week, I am done with ME3 and BioWare games in general. Never seen such a poor customer support/relations in my life.
I might not echo the high level of your frustration on this, having pretty much given up on a decent response being given, but well said! It's beyond shameful that people hit by this bug have effectively been shoved off into a corner and left to rot while we plead for some manner of basic communication. I can only assume at this point that Bioware has no intention of returning any of the lost items or points. Why else maintain a complete silence on the issue when a simple one line note a week stressing the issue is still being looked at would do much to alleviate nearly all the anxiety? It's beyond baffling to me and I agree, the level of support being provided on this particular issue has been dismal at best.

Glad to hear it, then we are in agreement on this part. Though, I would rather we all get to share in the "epix lewt" and rather they focus on making it so you guys can get it too instead of finding "feasable" rewards for everyone.

I might be of my wonkers here, but I do believe the whole event thing doesn't use any MP resources at all. It's just events with little to none coding. They have an entirely different team dedicated to bug fixing and hosting these events or not do little to or from the time needed to fix bugs.

On the ps3 all we can do is buy more packs. I for one haven't seen an N7 anything yet, nor do others I know. I have 2 level 20's I could promote first thing on Friday, but why bother? I would actually hurt my chances of getting N7 gear because I would have to re-level them so I could go back to the higher difficulty and get more credits. Its not just the reward, its the lack of ability to actively do something for my account wide arsenal. Events like this spice things up, get everyone in the mood, to be left out, just sucks.
